Moonscape is a short film which takes the form of a music video for a ballad/middle of the road song, performed as a duet between a male and female singer, in Arabic. The song traces the story of a man called Dennis M. Hope, who claimed ownership of the Moon in 1980 and thus founded the Lunar Embassy – a company that sells land on a variety of planets and Moons, and makes a connection between his story and that of the director's – a young Palestinian woman living under the Israeli occupation, longing to end the misery of her people in any way possible.

Lebanese filmmaker Dima El-Horr moved to Paris several years ago. Among the friends who stayed at home is the artist Sirvat Fazlian, whom she regularly visits in Beirut until the failed revolution of 2019, the COVID lockdown, the devastating port explosion and finally the dramatic economic crisis put a temporary end to their meetings. So the director decides to give her conversations with Siro a cinematic form.

Visions of construction in contemporary Doha neatly express its nearly manic pace of growth, while various voices from the community describe the city’s progress, lament the loss of nature that goes with urbanisation, consider the beauty of the new buildings, and discuss Doha’s cosmopolitan personality. A sort of travelogue around Qatar’s capital in development, ‘Voices from the Urbanscape’ is an apt reflection of a burgeoning 21st-century city with a mission, and a tribute to its multicultural success.

Silhouette is a story about a mentally unstable man, who has fear of the outside world, and can't get out of his room, how will he eat. How will he live without any help from an outsider and what is the cause of his fear from the outside.

DESERT MEMORY Director by Ali Aldmjani

Broken roots is a projection of the emotional state of 10-year-old Adham, who feels empty inside – as if he is a lonely black tree in the middle of the desert. He tries to fill this void by drawing and hanging expressive drawings on the walls around him, but there is no one to see the boy's work. And although his room is packed with colorful gift boxes, the only color Adham knows is black. After all, gifts are not what he asks for.

Spacious landscapes and a cloudless sky decorate the walls surrounding the little zoo in Palestine: screaming illusory allegories of freedom. Humans feed the animals and talk to them. Just a regular day at the zoo. If it were not for the giraffe that was shot dead by the Israeli military; or for the lions who were only allowed to be imported after being sterilised. Timidly, the workers at the zoo start talking about what it means to live and work under occupation.

In a small farm, away from city and deep in the mountains lives two young boys and their grandmother. They spend their mornings farming vegetables, and then heading to a road where they sit and wait to sell to travellers passing by. Only to return home, to tend to their sick grandmother with the medicine they had to buy from the little money they make. This film takes a look into their lives in their surroundings, while the road as their main source of making a living, it is the road that will determine their destiny.
