Texas Chainsaw 3D della Lionsgate continua la storia leggendaria della famiglia omicida dei Sawyer, ripartendo da dove il classico horror del 1974 di Tobe Hooper aveva lasciato a Newt, in Texas, dove per decenni la gente è scomparsa senza lasciare traccia. La gente del paese ha sospettato a lungo che la famiglia Sawyer, proprietaria di un locale di barbecue, fosse in qualche modo responsabile. I loro sospetti sono stati infine confermati in un afoso giorno d’estate quando una giovane donna riuscì a sfuggire da casa Sawyer dopo il brutale assassinio dei suoi quattro amici. Chiacchiere intorno alla cittadina si diffusero rapidamente e una folla di gente del posto inferocita circondò la tenuta dei Sawyer, bruciandola e uccidendo ogni singolo membro della famiglia o almeno così pensavano. Decenni più tardi a centinaia di chilometri di distanza dal massacro originale, una giovane donna di nome Heather scopre di aver ereditato una tenuta in Texas da una nonna che non ha mai conosciuto...

Si racconta la storia di quattro ragazzi e una ragazza e delle le loro famiglie a Visalia, California dove, una mattina, il giovane Ken Park (vero nome di uno skater professionista degli anni ottanta) si reca a bordo della sua tavola nello skate park cittadino. Sedutosi, estrae dallo zaino una telecamera puntando l'obiettivo verso il suo viso. Registrando la scena estrae dallo zaino anche una pistola con la quale, sorridendo, si spara alla tempia. In seguito a questa vicenda le vite dei protagonisti vengono cambiate per sempre. L'odio, l'amore, il sesso e la violenza, vengono rappresentati nel ritratto di un gruppo di adolescenti in cui è rivelata la loro confusione emotiva tramite dialoghi e immagini di grande crudezza e scene di sesso che non nascondono nulla.

Dopo che la sua gelosa matrigna, la Regina, ha ordinato ad un cacciatore di ucciderla, la Principessa Biancaneve fugge nel bosco, trovando rifugio in una piccola casetta abitata da sette gentili e premurosi nani, che l'accolgono con loro. Dopo due tentativi sventati dal coraggio e dalla saggezza dei nani, la matrigna riesce nel suo intento facendo mordere a Biancaneve una mela avvelenata. La donna è finalmente contenta di essere di nuovo la più bella del reame, almeno fino a quando un bel Principe non arriva per salvare Biancaneve dal suo triste destino.
