Fred Flarsky (Seth Rogen), un giornalista disoccupato nel pieno di una crisi professionale e depressiva decide di riconquistare una sua vecchia fiamma. Nel 1880 un proprietario terriero del New Mexico, il colonnello James Brewton, sposa la bella Lutie Cameron, proveniente da una famiglia borghese di St. Louis. Successivamente la donna ha una bimba, però soffre estremamente la solitudine di quella splendida ma immensa prateria e dopo un paio d'anni la coppia decide di separarsi per un periodo di tempo, lasciando la figlia a casa. È proprio durante questa separazione che Lutie resta incinta del giudice "nemico" del colonnello...il tradimento è occasionale, ma è purtroppo sufficiente, però le fa anche comprendere che non può vivere lontana da suo marito. Torna così da lui, sinceramente intenzionata a confessargli il tradimento; l'uomo la riaccoglie a braccia aperte e lei non riesce più a trovare il coraggio di parlare. Stavolta la donna ha un bimbo, ma nel frattempo James ha ormai intuito tutto e dopo circa due anni Lutie si vede costretta a raccontargli l'accaduto.

La protagonista, Halla, sembra una donna come le altre, ma dietro la routine di ogni giorno nasconde una vita segreta: armata di tutto punto compie spericolate azioni di sabotaggio contro le multinazionali che stanno devastando la sua terra, la splendida Islanda. Quando però una sua vecchia richiesta d’adozione va a buon fine e una bambina si affaccia a sorpresa nella sua vita, Halla dovrà affrontare la sua sfida più grande.

The series focuses on a rare species of little bears with wings that live in the magical forest in a utopian cooperative community. The little flying bears together with their friends, took on themselves the task to defend their forest from pollution. However, their efforts, very often, are disturbed by two weasels, Skulk and Sammy, which strive to pollute the forest. Every so often the weasels receive help from Slink the snake. The three always strive to find new ways to disturb the harmony of the forest but their plans are destroyed always by the bears. The bears are always attentive to the advices of the old bear, Plato (who is too old to fly) and his friend Ozzy the owl. This cartoon helps children realize the importance of protecting the environment. The series shows the harmful effects of pollution and fires as well as the important role of the ecosystem.
