Alma è una scienziata del famoso Pergamon Museum di Berlino. Per ottenere fondi per la ricerca per i suoi studi, accetta un'offerta per partecipare a un esperimento straordinario. Men Ke, an office worker and corporate slave, spent the first half of her life so bored that she questioned her existence. In the second half, however, she faces a situation where boredom could literally kill her. Every day, she confronts the threat of death yet still has to go to work. The story revolves around this Earthling heroine and an enthusiastic but somewhat inept alien hero who wants to save her. Together, they must find a way to overcome boredom and live with a smile!
