Non solo ha portato un maiale in casa, ma ne ha persino scaricato i bisogni nel lago di Springfield, appena depurato, che ha così nuovamente superato i limiti sostenibili di inquinamento: il governo americano non può che intervenire e inglobare la cittadina sotto una cupola di vetro indistruttibile per evitare contaminazioni. La famiglia Simpson, messa alla gogna dal resto della popolazione, non può che fuggire (in Alaska): spetterà a Homer, dopo mille vicissitudini, riportare le cose alla normalità.

Robert Bilott, avvocato ambientalista, porta il colosso della chimica DuPont in tribunale. Così facendo, denuncia decenni di inquinamento chimico ai danni dell'acqua potabile delle campagne.

Tutto questo porterà Carol verso un'auto isolamento, trasformando la sua abitazione in luogo asettico e protetto, evitando di entrare in contatto con qualsiasi cosa di chimico.

Doug e il suo amico del cuore Skeeter sono sulle tracce di un sedicente mostro del lago e per questo vengono presi in giro da tutti. Ma il mostro esiste davvero ed è molto affettuoso. I due vorrebbero rendere pubblica la scoperta, ma ciò segnerebbe la sorte del mostro perché il poverino è il prodotto dell'inquinamento provocato da un industriale molto potente che vuol nascondere lo scempio. Pur di salvare il nuovo amico, Doug rischia di perdere l'amore della sua adorata Patti Mayonnaise.

The three always strive to find new ways to disturb the harmony of the forest but their plans are destroyed always by the bears. The bears are always attentive to the advices of the old bear, Plato (who is too old to fly) and his friend Ozzy the owl. This cartoon helps children realize the importance of protecting the environment. The series shows the harmful effects of pollution and fires as well as the important role of the ecosystem.

Shown as part of Channel 4's Video Fantasies series, a selection of four innovative dramas deploying state-of-the-art visual and electronic effects. This was the only one of the four that had a futuristic basis. It was set perhaps a couple of decades ahead in a world being slowly drowned by technology, a world in which traffic jams are the norm instead of the exception, and where the people avoid getting caught in the rain for better reasons than simply not wanting to get wet. The Rachel of the title is the younger sister of an up-and-coming marketing executive who has just secured a contract with a wealthy but repulsive millionaire who is into toxic waste, which he stores in secret for large sums of money. Rachel finds that, through a large bank of video screens in her sister's apartment, her wishes can come true when she brings to life the image on an anti-pollution poster. This new friend helps her to make up her mind about her own future. The style of the production was fresh and colourful, the pace slow and moody for the most part, and it made for an interesting half-hour's viewing.
