Quando Jessica ritorna nella sua casa d'infanzia ritrova il suo orsacchiotto Chauncey, a cui la figliastra Alice si affeziona. Con il passare dei giorni, il comportamento di Alice diventa strano e insolito, mentre i suoi giochi si fanno via via più sinistri e inquietanti. Jessica comincia quindi a sospettare che l'orsetto abbia un'influenza negativa sulla bambina.
