Wanna Bet? is an American game show which aired on ABC. It featured four celebrities making wagers on whether ordinary Americans will be able to complete outrageous stunts. An episode of the show began with four celebrities being given $25,000 to wager on the success or failure of ordinary Americans completing outrageous stunts. Show hosts Ant & Dec introduced a stunt performer and the stunt they claim they will be able to complete, and the celebrities then guess whether the performer will successfully complete the stunt or if they will fail to complete the stunt. The celebrities also lock in the amount of money they'd like to wager on performer's ability to complete the stunt, but the exact amount of the wager is not revealed to the viewing audience. The performer then attempts the stunt, and afterward the celebrities' wagers are revealed and the amount of money earned is totalled. The celebrity with the most money totalled at the end of an episode wins that amount for their favorite charity. Due to poor ratings, the show was cancelled after one season.

Back That Fact is a short-lived American game show that aired on ABC from October 22 to November 26, 1953. This was the first TV game show for creator/producers Jack Barry and Dan Enright. Borscht Belt comedian and syndicated columnist Joey Adams was the emcee, with actress Hope Lange and actor Al Kelly as his assistants and Carl Caruso as the announcer. Justice For All is an American television pilot shot in 1968 for the ABC network. This was Norman Lear's first attempt at what would eventually become All in the Family. The script, written by Lear, was based on a British show, Till Death Us Do Part. The lead character of Archie Justice was a white, working class reactionary with racist and anti-social views. Archie's wife, Edith was a kind, naive woman devoted to her husband. They had a daughter, Gloria, who was married to Richard, a young, Irish-American liberal hippie whom Archie despised. Richard had a black friend, Lionel. By the time All in the Family made it to air, a number of changes had been made. The Justice family's last name had been changed to "Bunker." The "Richard" character was replaced by Michael "Meathead" Stivic, a Polish-American liberal hippie with long hair. The Gloria character in the pilot more closely resembled her parents' appearance with her short, curly, red hair, as opposed to the long blonde hair worn by Sally Struthers, who portrayed Gloria in the series. This pilot never aired as ABC did not pick up Justice For All, but in 1969 Norman Lear shot another pilot called Those Were The Days with two different actors playing Gloria and Richard.

The Nurses is an American soap opera that aired on ABC from September 27, 1965 to March 31, 1967. The show was a continuation of a serialized primetime drama which aired on CBS originally called The Nurses when it premiered in 1962, later called The Doctors and the Nurses. The setting was Alden General Hospital and the main characters included Mary Fickett as Liz Thorpe and Melinda Cordell as Gail Lucas, along with Claudia McNeil, Lee Patterson, Nicholas Pryor, Paul Stevens, Arthur Franz, and Lesley Woods.

The Mark Goodson-Bill Todman production ran on ABC from July 18, 1977 to January 13, 1978. The show had two hosts, one male and one female; each one acted as a leader to the team of the appropriate sex. The male host was country music singer Bill Anderson, and the female host was Sarah Purcell. Gene Wood was the announcer.

Shaq's Big Challenge is a reality television show hosted by Shaquille O'Neal that debuted on ABC with its first episode on June 26, 2007, and concluded its first season on July 31, 2007. It featured Shaq's efforts to help six severely obese middle school aged children from Broward County, Florida lose weight and gain a healthy lifestyle. It aired on Tuesdays at 9:00 pm ET/PT and 8:00 pm CT on ABC. The events of the six episodes take place over a period of nine months. The challenge was originally scheduled to last five months, but near the end, Shaq and the kids decided to extend it another four months. All kids started out in either the obese or the morbidly obese category and were unable to produce adequate results in the President's Physical Fitness Test, and by the end they were all within the normal or overweight categories and passed the President's Physical Fitness Test in all areas. The show debuted to low ratings, though it can be attributed, and is attributed by ABC as well as critics, to the fact that the show shares a time slot with the highly successful America's Got Talent and reruns of the immensely popular House. Critics, parents, and educational institutions lauded the show for its accuracy, humor, emotion, sincerity, and lack of exploitation.
