淳美（綾瀬はるか）が自殺を図り、一命を取り留めたものの昏睡状態となる。彼女と幼い頃から一緒に過ごしいつしか恋人となった浩市（佐藤健）でも淳美が自殺を図った理由がわからない。彼女を救うために、浩市は＜センシング＞と呼ばれる眠り続ける患者と意思疎通ができる手法を用い、淳美の意識内へ潜り込む。＜センシング＞を繰り返すうちに、浩市の脳と淳美の意識が混線するようになり、二人は現実と仮想が入り乱れる意識の迷宮を彷徨う。そして二人がかつて過ごした飛古根島へ向かった浩市は、記憶を封印していた15年前の事件に触れる……。
