A unique look behind the scenes during the conception and development of the Fata Morgana dark ride in amusement park Efteling. Former employees share their memories and these stories are illustrated by a great many photos and video fragments, including never-before-seen footage of the construction, unique design drawings and a glimpse into various technical manuscripts.

50 Years Fairytales in the Efteling is a documentary from 2002 about the history of the Efteling, in honor of the golden jubilee. Like Dreaming with Open Eyes, this documentary was also composed and directed by Nathalie Toisuta. It mainly consists of interviews with (relatives of) Efteling stars, supported by many archive images. The forty-minute program was broadcast on Nederland 2 in 2002 by TROS. The commentary is by Thom Hoffman.

Young Peter has a difficult time adjusting at school having been confined to a wheelchair after an accident. By chance the local inventor Quirinus Drijfhout and his son Felix have just perfected their 'Zerostraler', a machine that can make any object float in mid air.

On 12 May 1978, Kate made her debut on Dutch television in a program that has gotten to be known as “De Efteling Special”. The amusement park De Efteling served as a backdrop for six songs of The Kick Inside: Moving, Wuthering Heights, Them Heavy People, Strange Phenomena, The Man With The Child In His Eyes, and The Kick Inside. On 10 May 1978, the Efteling was ready to open the Haunted Castle, the most expensive attraction it had ever constructed (designed by Ton van der Ven), and they wanted to promote it. In April a documentary featuring the Haunted Castle was made by filmmaker Rien van Wijk, who was eager to shoot in the latest attraction before it officially opened. Kate, who just had a big hit with Wuthering Heights, was approached for a television special that would promote both Efteling and her songs. This is the original broadcast of May 12, 1978. The original 16m film is lost; this is a copy of the uMatic version that is the only version left.

The Fairy Tale Collector is a wonderful character from the exciting book of the same name by Princess Laurentien and author Paul van Loon, which was published in 2014 in collaboration with Efteling. Sprookjesboom, also known as "The Fairy Tale Tree" and "Märchenbaum" is a computer-animated series for children from The Efteling. The show is produced by the animation studio Motek Entertainment in Amsterdam, based on a concept from Efteling's director, Olaf Vugts. The television program is broadcast daily in several international markets including the Netherlands on TROS and z@ppelin, in Belgium on Ketnet, and in Germany on NRW. Sprookjesboom is similar in theme to Dreamworks' Shrek. It tells the story of the characters that live in the Sprookjesbos, or Fairy Tale Forest, including Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, and Tom Thumb. Behind every 5-minute episode is a subtle moral message. Episodes are in Dutch, with some having been translated to German and English. The character animation is based on motion capture performance. A feature length film titled Sprookjesboom, de Film was released in 2012 and was awarded the 100th Dutch Gouden Film. The film was based on the characters and stories from the series.
