The incredible house of Pierre Loti (1850-1923) in Rochefort will reopen to the public in June 2025. This is an opportunity to look back on the romantic life of one of the most widely read and translated authors of his time. The writer-officer, who joined the navy at the age of 17, traveled around the world as his assignments took him. Through his literary work, he built a sensitive memory of the diversity of cultures at the turn of the 20th century, questioning the major geopolitical upheavals of his time. The film draws heavily on Loti's own words, combined with a collection of rare archives from the period.

His texts, brimming with humor and despair, and rare archives of his fellow travelers, tell the story of a man filled with doubt, a composer ferociously ahead of his time. His pieces continue to inspire even the most avant-garde artists.

Weeping Rocks follows Art, an entomologist nearing the end of his life, who has spent over five decades walking the same ten trails, meticulously counting every butterfly he sees and witnessing the slow erosion of the world. His eccentric, patient research has uncovered patterns of decline that went unnoticed for years, revealing the deep environmental impact of detrimental human activities. As time reshapes the landscape and species fade, Art’s journey becomes a meditation on mortality, change, and the beauty of what remains.

I Will Always Be Your Girl :P is a video-art piece made of archival footage documenting a specific part of the artist’s transition: the six months between the beginning of the legal process to change name and gender in Italy and the day of the court appointment. More than an informative video about transition guidelines in Italy, I almost impulsively assembled fragments of footage I filmed during these months. On a line between doing my testosterone shot, sharing my thoughts and worries about the process, performing gender and car rides - it is within this space that I place the legal recognition of my own gender and name from the Italian state.
