Rahul, a young man, tries to protect his wife from a goon who wants to forcibly marry her. When all things go against Rahul, he becomes an angry man, and sets out to fight against the goon.

A young engineer Aydin comes back to his hometown after years of education as a mining engineer in London. Selami, the owner of a local wood company, paid for Aydin's tuition and expenses. Selami has been the employer of Aydin's father in the past and he acts like an elder brother for Aydin, offers him to stay in his house. Aydin starts to work as the chief engineer in one of the mining companies. From the first day onwards Aydin opposes the mining practices imposed by Rahmi Bey, the owner of the company. He orders to stop mining and deals with the wood sellers who sell low-quality wood used to support the thrusts in the mines.

In the 60s, Vadim, a Soviet engineer, is in love with Vera, a researcher in biology. But their romance is suddenly disrupted by a mission entrusted to Vadim: sent to Egypt, he must participate in one of the great utopian ventures initiated by the USSR. Based on unpublished archives, this film is inspired by a true story.

The film tells about the everyday life of the Vilnius utility company. The main conflict in the film occurs between director Valaitis and chief engineer Butkus, who opposes the director’s working methods.

A simple typewriter is familiar with a garage-facing young man, who is recommended to be a big business man. The same is done by her, presenting the daughter of his boss industrialist. In the end, however, all is corrected, misunderstandings are overlooked and the poor typist marries the poor garage.

This documentary travels from Palmyra to the Genesee River, stopping along the way to visit the people and places that make the canal so special. Canal historian Thomas Grasso offers insight into the canal’s past while the Golden Eagle String Band provides the music track.
