Vasil Granouski is 58. He's living in a village, where he leads a local choir. It consists of only elderly performers. The harmonic Vasil plays is also old, and it lacks a couple of keys. His car, in which he drivers the singers around, is faulty and doesn't always start.

A snowstorm. An endless snowfield. Snow that never ends. A herd of white horses rushes past a chain of prisoners, dragging through the eternal night. As shadow intersects with light, so does death intersect with life. And this spontaneity is never-ending.

A creature takes up residence in a young man's room and feeds him but, at the same time, kills him. His life is falling apart, and he has no choice but to fight to the death against this dependency.

One day, the artist Arthur makes up an adventure for himself - he goes to the village of Bocheikovo, to the former estate of Count Tykhonovetsky, in search of the count's archives. Arthur hopes to find blueprints and maps drawn up by Tihonovetsky on how to make his way into space, floating down the river. In the place of the former manor there is an abandoned house of culture and a monument to the muscular proletarian pointing to the sky. Arthur finds the oldest man in the village, capable of at least something to tell. From him, he learns a story about a treasure, which has long been shared.

On the day of the summer solstice, Belarus celebrates Kupalle, an ancient feast of the Nature’s high noon. To gain the power of four elements and become a new sorceress, Kupalinka has to face her own fears.

Two friends set off on a journey along the borders of Belarus on Chinese bicycles with gasoline engines. 47 days of travel, endless breakdowns and dozens of random encounters add up to sketches about the life of the outskirts of the most Soviet of all post-Soviet countries. Villagers, students, rappers, drunks. The long road gradually erases the line between reality and cinema, and with each kilometer it becomes more difficult to distinguish one from the other.

Having gotten lost in the woods, a teenage girl slips into the past and spends a summer day with her mother at fifteen. In shared conversations and small moments, she gets to know her mother from new sides and learns that growing up feels the same in every time.

This is the film about woman's autumn. Her photo was published in numerous newspapers. She appeared on TV. She got thousands of letters with proposals of friendship and love. Some time all Soviet Union knew her. Maria is the name of a tractor heroine famous in the Soviet era, now alone in her cottage in the country.

Based on the Belarus tale "Ад крадзенага — не пасыцееш". The villager had two sons. Time has come and father brought them to get a job. Then one of the sons said that he don't want to work and will be stealing the oxen instead.

Little boy Janka became seriously ill and huddled deep within his bed. He would like to see the Sun, but autumn has chased away the good weather, cold rainy day was outside behind the window. Janka's sister, Alenka, is going to help little brother and goes to look for the Sun.

Residents of the village in Gomel oblast' tell legends about forest spirits and features of communicating with them. Old customs and superstitions have survived to our days.
