Jerzy Stuhr scripted, directed and plays four roles in this Polish comedy about four men -- an army officer, a college instructor, a priest, and a drug dealer -- and their relationships with four females. An attractive student puts the teacher in an awkward spot when she reveals her love for him. An 11-year-old informs the priest that she's his daughter. The army officer is pleased when confronted by a past lover. The drug dealer, taken prisoner, must decide whether or not to trust his wife with his hidden loot. In the wrap-up, the elderly accountant passes judgment on all four men. Stuhr acted in films by the late Krzysztof Kieslowski, who had some input here by offering advice to Stuhr on this screenplay.

"Emilia" is a parody of Jean-Pierre Jeunet's "Amelia". The title heroine was brought up in very specific conditions. Her parents could not transfer enough affection and knowledge to the growing child. Therefore, the girl created her own inner world in her mind, to live in complete isolation from the environment. One day, 19-year-old Emilia finds her life goal - she decides to do good around her. Unfortunately, bad luck means that people who meet on their way do not really need any help from her ...

The movie is about three brothers and a sister. The brothers include a would-be tough guy thug, a sleazy lawyer and an anarchist. The anarchist and the sister (Maria Strzelecka) have a thing for each other that is more than just sibling affection. Each of them is facing a problem of their own making. A lot depends on how they deal with their issues, as there isn't much lower they can stoop other than being dead. In the beginning of the film there is a lot going on, which makes it a little hard to follow, but that goes along with the theme of chaos.

A biology professor, Adam enters a hospital for observation. He is a loner and a serious-minded man, who dislikes any display of emotions. He spends three months in the hospital while being tested. After observing patients and hospital routines around him from a distance, he learns that he will need a kidney transplant. Meanwhile his personal and professional life is falling apart: he refuses his wife's offer to donate the kidney for him; the scientific problem he was working on has been solved elsewhere. In the end Adam cracks under the prolonged pressure, waiting for the sound of an ambulance bringing a moribund patient whose kidney may be used for the transplant.

The film follows a few people in their twenties experiencing love-Adrian, Jacus, Wiesia, The Crystal Girl and Wasyl. Adrian is in his final year studying philosophy. During a lecture on the nature of love, he notices Magda, a socially engaged journalist who has her own radio talk-show. They start dating. Jacus, who shares a dorm room with Adrian, is hopelessly in love with Wasyl. Unable to deal with his unrequited love, Jacus is driven to psychosis. Adrian’s sister Wiesia is soon to be married to Szymon. They are looking for a flat together. When Adrian drops by for a visit, he realizes that Szymon is physically abusing his sister. Wiesia, however, is in denial.

Strange events on one wedding of a mafioso's daughter near the city of Trapani, bring them back to Warsaw. Yet, the criminal leaders, particularly Don Antonio Gambini, are also in Poland where they have a job to do. Unintentionally, Max and Leo are brought into a plot.

A student who works part-time as a milk carrier, conducts a private investigation into the mysterious death of an old woman. While riding the elevator, he feels as if he saw the face of an elderly woman who died that particular day. Unfortunately, the police and ORMO quite effectively discourage the student from seeking the truth.

The story is set in a hotel environment where the main Character meets various people in different hotel rooms and gets involved with their private drama instigates it. The drama turns out to be somehow conducted by the female director, also one of the persons that the main Character meets in a hotel. The plot revolves around subjects of love, youth, death and ones persona and shows the main Character hopelessly trying to figure out the definition of self by means of desperately looking for real emotions in people and himself and channeling them through theatrical form. Will the main Character finally discover who he really is?

The protagonists of the film are two employees of a private television station. Janek is a journalist and Witek is a cameraman. Their specialty is hot, sensational topics. They are just working out the case of a gang, dealing in explosives. One day someone tosses them a tape from which they learn that a well-known politician named Makowski was a UB agent with the alias Ketman in the 1970s.

Romek is a Polish railway worker and Guido is a German soldier. They are both 17, in love with jazz and the same pretty girl. But it's 1943 somewhere in German-occupied Poland, and their lives are bound to change soon.
