An extraordinary film based on poignant letters written by Wehrmacht soldiers on the Eastern Front, intercepted during the war by the Home Army intelligence unit.

Non Duality refers to the educational film genre, in rhythmic and associative montages of meaning, tackles the theme of the belief in the separateness of the Self that lies at the foundation of Western culture and the divisive naturalizing function of language itself. The film juxtaposes archival footage from the Educational Film Studio in Łódź and a documentary and personal record of a conversation with Halina Pytlasinska, a British psychologist and therapist who works with the collective unconscious using the social dreaming matrix method.

Historian and archivist Janusz Kotanski and former political prisoner Janusz Horodniczy followed in the footsteps of documents found in the archives in search of those harmed by Stalin's repressive apparatus.

Peter Breugel’s famous picture The Mill and the Cross became an inspiration for Lech Majewski’s new film. The director has admitted that this is his greatest film challenge. Both Hollywood stars (Charlotte Rampling, Rutger Hauer, Michael York) and hundreds of extras were involved in the shooting. Over 1500 film set elements and costumes were prepared. Dagmara Drzazga follows the creation process of such a remarkable endeavour.

Elementary school swimming lesson. Warm-up, jump into the water and underwater ballet. The camera embraces the whole group, but also closely follows the emotions on individual faces. The children experience the whole gamut of emotions: concentration, gathering courage, hesitation, resignation, embarrassment in front of the group, the joy of getting to the surface, the relief of reaching the shore. Finally, a sense of tameness and a desire to explore the underwater world. At the bottom, children's toys are waiting to be brought out: a spinner and a swan. The underwater shots are accompanied by an unearthly world of sound, created in the Experimental Studio of Polish Radio.
