도쿄 번화가의 중심인 긴자의 오피스촌 지하에 있는 스시 레스토랑 스키야바시 지로. 이곳에서는 오늘도 85세의 스시 장인 오노 지로가 피곤함도 잊은 채 완벽한 스시를 만들기 위해 고군분투하고 있다. 비록 단 10명의 손님만이 앉을 수 있는 작고 소박한 공간이지만 이곳은 세계적인 레스토랑 평가서 미슐랭 가이드가 인정한 최고 등급의 레스토랑이다. 그리고 오노 지로는 미슐랭 가이드 역사상 최고령 3스타 셰프의 기록을 갖고 있다. 평생을 그래왔던 것처럼 인생의 마지막 날까지 오늘보다 내일 더 나은 스시를 만드는 것이 바로 지로 할아버지의 꿈이다.

‘후아나’는 미혼모로 딸과 함께 아버지를 모시고 살고 있다. 생계를 위해 거리에서 과일을 팔던 그녀는 어느 날, 강도를 만나 큰 돈을 빼앗기게 된다. 여자의 몸으로 거리에서 장사한다는 것은 위험하다고 이야기하는 아버지의 말대로 후아나는 취직을 결심한다. 그러던 중 그녀는 우연히 초밥집 앞에서 주문한 초밥을 먹고 있는 사람들의 모습을 보게 되고 초밥의 독특하고 정갈한 이미지에 매혹되어 초밥집 주방에 취직하게 된다. 1년간 주방에서 일하면서 어깨 너머로 셰프 ‘아키’의 초밥 만드는 모습을 지켜보며 초밥 셰프의 꿈을 꾸게 된 후아나. 하지만 여자이자 서양인이 초밥 셰프가 된다는 것은 결코 쉽지 않은데...

Sushi Pack is an American-Canadian animated television series produced by DIC Entertainment and American Greetings, that aired on the KEWLopolis block on CBS November 3, 2007 - September 12, 2009. It featured a team of wasabi, salmon egg sushi, crab sushi, tuna sushi, and octopus sushi as they used their wits and their emotions to save the world and educated young children. The Sushi Pack team lives in a donut shop with their human friend, Ben. Despite the superhero element of the story, violence is used only as a last resort. The closing theme song of the show is a techno/rap/funk hybrid song written by Phofo, composer for the entire series. Sushi Pack was created by Studio Espinosa. Quests involve learning about the meaning of friendship, social skills, and teamwork.

Wasabi Mon Amour is a TVB modern drama series broadcast in January 2008. Japanese cuisine chef Chung Lai-Wo (Michael Tao) has long been in love with his childhood friend Ko Yau-Mei (Louisa So), who is always interested in pursuing a career in showbiz. To realize her dream, Wo lies to the press and refers to Mei as "a most talented chef of the time". With Wo's help, Mei has finally landed a job as the host of a food program. As Mei is completely clueless about cooking, Wo decides to do her a favor by offering to be her assistant, which irritates his mentor Ko Shau (Paul Chun), also father of Mei, beyond measure. Although the food program turns out to be very popular, Mei often gets picked on by her half sister Ko Yim-Lai (Bernice Liu) while at work. Lai is angry with Shau for being bad to her mother and she means to make things difficult for Mei as revenge.

The Rippling Blossom is a 2011 TVB modern romance drama series. The premiere episode aired on 7 February 2011. It was filmed from 25 October 2009 to 20 January 2010. Filming locations included Hokkaido, as well as Tokyo and Hong Kong.
