Uku Masing (11.08.1909-25.04.1985, born in Raikküla parish, Lipa village) was a theologian, Orientalist, philosopher, poet, folklorist and ethnologist. The residents of Masing's home village recall their memories about Uku Masing and his family.

An office-working dog loses his job due to anger problems. Every year, the local people gather with their guests in Samma village in Virumaa near Tammealuse hiie to celebrate the beginning of summer. Memories bring us the knowledge of summer holidays as an important and joyful spring holiday for the rural people, which has been celebrated in Estonia through the ages to greet the coming summer. The summer holidays or summers included many traditional activities - tidying up the home and its surroundings, decorating with birches, going to the sauna. The party itself took place at the nearest ski resort, where a swing and a campfire were erected. The whole family came here. Various rituals were sung, danced, swung, played, eaten and performed. Something has come of this today. The film brings a part of it to the viewers.

Documentary about Estonian rock music as a birth-story of a fresh thought in the contradictional Soviet cultural space. A world of contrasts – pioneers placing flower chaplets to Lenin’s monument and Scott McKenzie “If you’re going to San Francisco, be sure to wear flowers in your head”. First Estonian beat-bands were born already in the early 60’s. Names like “Juuniorid”, “Rütmikud”, “Optimistid”, “Mikronid”, “Kristallid”, “Virmalised” and a lot of others, not so well known, performed almost every week on youth dance-nights. The repertoire was mainly acquired by listening and recording music from foreign radio stations with the static noise of the radio. Radio Luxemburg and a lot of other radio stations playing new music, like Radio Caroline and Radio Sweden, became windows to the music world. On 28 April, 1968, the Puhkeparkide Direktsioon and Tallinn Beat Club organized the first festival-like youth music event in Estonia and in whole Soviet Union.

Raul and Romet are two film school students who one day wish to become world famous film directors. However this is not the reason they made this film. They had a really cool friend Brandon. He was an up-and-coming rapper and also their favourite actor. But during a summer holiday in America the brothers get a call that Brandon has killed himself. It all seemed so sudden and they couldn't even say goodbye. So the brothers attempt to understand the mysterious end of their friend by making a movie about it.

Lost film. The five-episode silent film was shot in Tartu and it was ambitiously called as „the first Estonian art drama“ by its producers. Nothing is known about the contents of the film since it is not preserved. It may have imitated the popular Russian drama series of „Gold Series“.

On August 20th of 2017 the legendary Estonian rock band Ruja was reunited. They performed for just one show at the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds. The event was the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the restoration of Estonian independence. The original members of the band were joined by Estonia’s most talented instrumentalists and singers. The pairing produced a powerful and engaging concert that created an unforgettable experience for everyone attending it.

The documentary film „Touched by the Ocean“ tells a story of a man who has loads of willpower, a big heart and is crazy enough to swim from Europe to Africa in order to cross the punishing Strait of Gibraltar. All that for a good and gallant cause.
