For the End of Time is a film about the mind… a film about the body and our inability to merge these two entities which are shaping a form of civilization known under the term “human”. A human is not a being unto itself. A human is a construct… a civilization-related coding of a certain precise time and place. A human is not a uniform creature. A human is a split between many things… but the worst is the split carried inside… that between the mind and the body… How can we feel others, if the only universe that an individual truly lives in and feels is his or her own universe? How can you feel for the other… How can the other feel for you? Only as much as the pain of the other resembles yours – thus as a reminiscence of one’s own pain. This is the only way. For the End of Time is a film on a quest… for the eternal longing “to find the real thing.

A story set in a Slovenian village during Italian occupation. Stefuc, a man who has been widowed twice and has four daughters, wants to get married for the third time with Zana, who's already engaged and pregnant with Ludvik. Stefuc tries to separate them away, but realizes that he'll have to marry Hedvika, a nice looking girl who has just returned from Milan. In the meantime, Italian fascist authorities decide to eradicate five Slovenian songs with the help of local traitors.

Prishtina, Kosovo. Mark works as 'an international employee'. One night he meets three local girls in a bar: Besa, her girlfriend Hana, and Shpresa. Mark is attracted to Shpresa's extreme passion, but the romance is soon shattered. Her mood swings from passionate love to hate and death threats in a matter of seconds. For Mark this is hard to handle. He believes Shpresa might suffer from borderline personality disorder. As he wants to confront her, she starts pushing him away. Hana and Besa's relationship is also in danger, but for a completely different reason: Hana is afraid of the social stigma that love between two girls carries in the deeply conservative and patriarchal Kosovo.

Composer and pianist Blaz Gaber lives only for his music and does not want to know anything about the outside world, where the war is raging. Upon his arrival from his poorly attended concert, he finds himself in prison for having stars drawn in his notebook by a little boy. A young illegal activist seeks refugee in the school, where the pupils hide his pistol inside the Gaber's piano. A German officer comes with his soldiers to find the hidden illegal, orders the school to be evacuated and takes the piano together with him on a train.

After the death of his partner, Luka and his daughter Mia struggle to cope and stay bonded as a family.

A Ljubljana youth thinks his dancing skills in a club are a god sent for women. But meeting one who doesn't at all fall for his charms he starts seeing it differently. After they spend a magical night together he starts feeling something he never felt before.

In this series of short films architecture becomes animated, even transformed, with social input. Similarly it serves to animate its viewers/occupants -- architecture as stage and actor both. (Good) built projects in Slovenia generally follow a well-thought and focused approach and execution. They are, relatively speaking, of modest size. They are small not in scale nor ambition -- but small as in contained, disciplined, intelligent and specifically responsive. With room for a smile.

The pursuit of happiness, 22 years later. It was 1991 when three teenagers wrote on the bathroom wall of the K4 nightclub: THE POET, AZRA, JURCEK FOR EVER! Ljubljana 2013, three 35-year-olds, three stories from the toilet. Azra, a successful artist, is all alone and cries. Jurcek, a father to be, doesn't want to be gay. Poet doesn't know whether to roam or not to roam. This film is a cursory look into their lives.

The film is a portrait of the Novak family: the results of the marriage between the farmer Novak and a townswoman of German descent, their children and their tragic fates and the life of Andrej - the Novaks' only surviving child. Andrej recalls the days of his youth and the wartime years, in which the family slowly breaks up due to different political beliefs and world-outlooks. In addition to the loss of many members of his family, Andrej must also face the fact that his father has disowned him and his girlfriend left him. Despite all, however, he keeps alive his hopes of a better future, which, to him, is embodied by the beautiful Iza.

A scandal breaks out in a small town just big enough to have a local newspaper.

Still longing for love and beauty Nani Papali died at the age of twenty, leaving his diary containing the words of love he feared to speak about openly about his fellow student. In 1938 this diary was rewritten into a book, and was the first novel to deal with the subject of gay love in Slovenia. Scandalous for its day, it caused a great stir and met with considerable disapproval. The film Boys, based on this novel, depicts the intimate world of boys’ affections.

Vid is talented but spoiled young man smothered in his affection to the adoring mother and heedless of his aloof father. His grandfather is benevolent but self-important patriarch and his new girlfriend is a creature of voluptuous innocence wrestling with the torment of a dysfunctional home. These are main characters in a story of strained love and spiraling desire. Characters reveal inexorable issues- baggage that they brought with them. Ultimately this baggage becomes a ruinous burden.

Three brothers struggle to survive on the harsh, inexorable and melancholy plains of Slovenia's Prekmurje region. The oldest flees from home in search of a better living, the middle brother survives by refusing to comply with tradition and the youngest, who received his education as a vet in the city simply cannot get used to the slow pace of country life. Will their father live to see the day when respect for the traditional ways will heal the wounds of the impoverished land?

The action takes place in Piran, where three children meet. An SMS message was sent to the wrong number triggers a series of events in which children go through various adventures and puzzles related to Piran. The antagonists of the story are bandits who are looking for treasure, but they are overtaken by children who are more skilled in solving the keys that lead to the treasure. The children are the first to find the treasure, which is actually a collection of letters between the famous violinist Tartini and Stradivari, a violin maker who through correspondence provided him with support and advice on improving violins.

Young teacher Sonja tries to resolve a quarrel between two classmates. Parents intervene, and unexpected consequences begin to develop from school disputes in school offices.

Jagoda Kopriva is a typical teenage girl who hangs out with her friends from school, flirting with boys, quarreling with her parents, and discovering her own sexuality.
