Three burglars invade a house, kill two people, and blind a third person, a woman. The police arrest the wrong man.

In ancient Egypt, a princess is executed after being caught in an affair with a Theban warrior, with her soul sealed inside a vase. Centuries later, a professor in Boston brings the vase to his home, with chaos ensuing.

A laundry man parks his horse-drawn cart to make a delivery. While he is inside, his horse sees a bag of oats and starts to eat them. By the time the man comes back outside, the horse has eaten a whole bag of oats, and has so much energy that he begins to race out of control.

Yannic, the farmer, falls asleep at the foot of the enchanted Dolmen despite his friends' recommendations, and is soon prey to the most fantastic nightmare.

A pickpocket manages to escape the police through a series of fantastic tricks. The director is this film is unknown.

If a violin was actually broken here we don't get to see it. Sadly this is one of many Georges Melies films that are only available in a fragment. Hopefully one day a complete print will turn up but until then at least we have this. The film starts off in some sort of bakery as the boss starts giving orders and then a bit later we see a young man pull out a violin he has been hiding and start to play it. The film then flashes to another location but this is where it cuts off so I'm not certain where the story went from here.

Turning Over a New Leaf: The thieves' den. The gang drinking and playing cards. The gentleman burglar arrives. Announces his coming wedding. Apprises them of his decision to quit his life of crime. He bids them good-bye and departs. Engaged to Another: Reception hall of the girl's home. A rival lover sues for her hand. She informs him of her engagement to another. He leaves her in sadness. Two Years Later: The gentleman burglar returns with his bride to her father's house.
