Jurnalul TVR is the main news program of the TVR, broadcast daily on TVR1, TVRi at 07:00, 14:00, 17:00, 19:00 and 22:45, and on TVR2. It broadcasts at different hours on TVR1 and TVR2, if the schedule of some sporting event that the two channels broadcast interfere with the usual TV schedule.

Burlacul is an Romanian reality television dating game show debuting in 2010 on Antena 1. The first season was hosted by Lucian Marinescu, in season 2 he was replaced by host and designer Cătălin Botezatu. There is one related series: Burlăcița.

Dansez pentru tine is a show produced and broadcast on television station Pro TV, presented and moderated by Ștefan Bănică, Jr. and Iulia Vântur. It was the most watched entertainment show in Romania in recent years as audiences. It is the Romanian version of the BBC's popular Dancing with the Stars, franchise which has been sold to more than 35 countries worldwide.

The Voice of Romania is a Romanian reality talent show that started in September 2011. It is part of the international syndication The Voice based on the reality singing competition launched in the Netherlands as The Voice of Holland, created by Dutch television producer John de Mol. The judging panel is Smiley, Tudor Chirila, Loredana Groza and Marius Moga with Pavel Bartoș presenter, Roxana Ionescu as Co-presenters and Vlad Roșca in backstage. In second season Roxana Ionescu was replaced with singer and actress Nicoleta Luciu. One of the important premises of the show is the quality of the singing talent. Four coaches, themselves popular performing artists, train the talents in their group and occasionally perform with them. Talents are selected in blind auditions, where the coaches cannot see, but only hear the auditioner.

Celebrity MasterChef is an Romanian competitive cooking game show. It is spin-off of MasterChef România, itself an adaptation of the British show MasterChef, and features celebrity contestants. It began production in early 8 October 2013, and will begin on PRO TV on October 2013. Cătălin Scătlătescu, Sorin Bontea and Florin Dumitrescu will returning as judges for the show and Răzvan Fodor will returning as a host.
