Short documentary about Katendrecht, South Holland. Shots of the neighbourhood near the old port in the south of Rotterdam, between the Meuse and Rhine harbours. The film shows the area’s Chinese residents, who walk through the snowy streets. On the windows are the names of bars, shops, and lodging houses: Baltimore, Deli Bar, Leng Wo Ku. They exemplify the neighbourhood’s cosmopolitan character.

The winter of 1863 finds the settlement of Auckland living in fear of Maori Rebels. Sir George Grey England's pro-consul has been sent out to handle these difficulties. Dr Wake, an Auckland Surgeon, and his daughter Cecily meet a young Englishman named Kenneth Gordon and the two young people become friends. When the Waikato war gets worse Gordon joints Von Tempsky's Corps of Forest Rangers.

Sid Griffiths the cartoon artist opens a window in his studio. He sits down at his drawing board and sees that Jerry is cold. He is warming his hands beside a little heater. He shivers and says "Shud thad window - I've got ad awful cold!!" Sid says "Fresh air's healthy." Jerry looks cross and paces back and forth waving his arms about trying to warm himself up. He pulls out a handkerchief and says: "Look oud! I'b going to sdeeze!!" Sid tries to move out of the way. Jerry sneezes. "Here id is - !" says Jerry. "A - A - A - TCHOO" - as he sneezes he falls forward.

Jerry shouts back "You can keep your 'Xmas pudding!!" He walks around the corner to the back of a house and says: "I wonder if they'll take pity on me here!"
C/U of a piece of paper. The animators' hands are in shot as he pours a drop of ink onto the paper. This ink spot moves and grows until it forms our friend Jerry in silhouette. He scratches his head and says: "If I had a banjo now I'd look a real nigger minstrel."
Documentary filmmed on the occasion of the seventy-fifth anniversary of the founding of the city in March 1925, with the record of the festivities and celebrations of the commemorative carnival. However, on July 3, 1925, the city suffered a terrible fire, which destroyed much of its historic center. The producers filmed the ruins of the city and added this footage to the original version, offering a rather bleak contrasting picture.

A commercial promoting products from the Koh-i-noor company, whose factory based in the Czech town of České Budějovice produces Hardtmuth pencils. A pencil draws a man and a lion, subsequently adding iron bars around the animal. The man is fighting with the lion. The cat first devours the man and then spits him out. An elephant appears - the image known from the Koh-i-noor erasing rubber - and performs some acrobatics. The rubber with the elephant erases the picture of the lion and the pencil scribbles over the man's figure.
In a village near Florence (referred to as “Scicci” in the Dutch intertitles), the female inhabitants sit in front of their houses, manufacturing straw hats. This short film depicts the entire process of a hat being made and ends with a model wearing it to demonstrate.

This time he transforms some hard looking characters into the well known countenances. Snub Pollard's picture is changed into Jack Holt. Charles Chaplin into Rudolph Valentino. Other faces are manipulated until they appear as Charles Murray, Mabel Normand, Irvin Cobb, and Harold Lloyd. Hair, mustaches, ears, etc. fly around at an amazing rate.
