Gaivus 2006-ųjų žiemos rytas. Prieš išvykdama į miestą daktarė Keitė Forester pašto dėžutėje palieka laišką sekančiam namo nuomininkui, prašydama jį paliekant namą tą laišką perduoti dar kitam gyventojui. Keitė taip pat parašo, jog nepaaiškinami spalvoti letenėlių atspaudai prie durų slenksčio buvo jau tuomet, kai ji atsikėlė gyventi į šį namą. O trečiai Padėkos dienai yra skirta paskutinė, baigiamoji, filmo dalis. Nors filmas pripažintas sėkmingu, visada viskuo nepatenkintas Woody Allenas interviu yra teigęs, kad kurdamas jį „labai susimovė“. Ir visa tai dėl lyg ir per laimingos pabaigos.
