Some years before WWI, art historian and priest Ciril from Ljubljana and his friend Fritz set out on a journey through Italy. Ciril hopes that his doctorate on Italian art would provide him inner peace, thus starting a new life. Emotionally disturbed Fritz, on the other hand, tries to escape everyday life, as well as from commitment he has to his female friend.

Denis’s adventures end happily for him and for all his family members, while the criminals are punished - as they should be.
Los Angeles in 1935. Fritz Lang receives in his hotel apartment the young film amateur Willy, who wants to prepare an interview with him. At a certain moment Lang starts relating how, as an army officer in the First World War, he spent some time in the house of the lawyer Karol Gatnik in a small town in the northeast of Slovenia. Lang makes friends with Gatnik and gets aquainted with all members of his family. When Lang finds out that Gatnik is a passionate film amateur and that he also possesses his own camera, they make a film together. This is probably Lang’s first contact with cinematography. Late at night Lang looks at the photographs in Los Angeles and revives in his spirit the imaginary meeting with his friend Gatnik.

This three-part historical epic of the lives and misfortunes of the Vrhunc family in the former Yugoslavia is divided into the years of 1914, 1924, and 1944. In 1914, the wealthy Vrhunc patriarch owns valuable land and operates a lucrative mine. He is conservative and wants to hold on to the status quo, and so when the region breaks away from Hapsburg rule, he loses out. His wife, in the meantime, is a tragic figure who has an unhappy solution to her stifling existence with her husband and children. In part II, set in 1924, the fascists and communists are fighting for footholds among the population and in the government, and the Vrhunc family is torn apart because their own allegiances are divided between the two opposing extremes. In part III, the family suffers the most, as Nazi collaborators are rounded up and shot by Partisans, and chaos reigns.
A young man, Peter, returns home in the middle of the night after a long journey. He returns to his home, to his parents. At the same time, he is also returning to his long-term girlfriend, who, during this time, has given birth to their daughter Vita. Peter is determined that his journey has come to the end, and that he will settle down and stay at home. Yet, he quickly realizes that a decision is easier to accept than to actualize it.

His father tells him in a fit of rage that he isn't his son at all. Feeling desperate and down, he goes to Leni's place for comfort, and finds her dead on the floor. The police arrest Peter for the murder of Leni. Will Peter have to serve a jail sentence on his road to maturity and will political connections have a bearing on the final verdict of the trial? Peter doesn't even know whom he can trust anymore.

When the planes bombed a Slovene town, a Slovene boy and a German girl set on a journey towards the valley, in which there is no war. On their way a black American pilot, who jumped of a shoot-down plane, joins them. Although American planes have killed the boy's parents, he accepts the pilot with enthusiasm. The children communicate with him in German and the valley of peace seems like the last paradise place of refuge. The Slovene boy, the German girl, and the American pilot represent a symbolic triangle of peace in this adventure happening in the middle of the War of Liberation.

In this respect the question of sex and empathy in the cyberworld is raised as well as the ethical and political questioning of cloning and hybrid identities. As one of the key moment in the video is the re-reading of the Bush’s USA war against Iraq, 2003.

In the middle of a hot summer, a homeless woman is murdered in the centre of Ljubljana. At least as much as her death is troubled by the fact that the murder took place in a park right next to the General Police Administration. In addition to Taras's and Tina's relationship, resentment is being drawn from the events at Lake Bohinj over Taras' treatment of the spoiled son of an influential man, so the head of Drvarič assigns the management of the case to Tini instead of Taras. The team, which deals with the challenges of the television company every day, consists of the director John Smith, his assistant Podrepnik, the energetic marketing director Mercatori, the journalist Samo and his journalist colleague Ana, the secretary Ingrid, the punk videographer Izidor, the director Luka, the waitress Zofka, the extremely practical lighting operator Jože, tireless cleaner Fata and homeless Cojz.
