Lily and Jack are half-siblings thrown together for a summer who must learn how to navigate their new family dynamic while also helping with the Wylde Pak family's chaotic pet grooming business.

Dark Ages wizard Merlin, weary of the barbarism around him, creates a new order of enlightenment and justice with a youthful Arthur at its head. Merlin gifts Arthur with the magic legendary sword Excalibur to help him defeat the nobles who oppose his rule. Black and white half-brothers Wesley and Cyril McGregor run an extremely dodgy secondhand car business out of Liverpool. A comedic spin-off from ITV's soap opera Coronation Street, the producers were unable to get Tony Osoba and Carl Chase to reprise the roles, so Paul Barber and Philip Whitchurch were cast instead. For two characters who appeared in a single May 1982 episode, The Brothers McGregor was very popular, running for four series.

As a boy, Freddie Musgrave ran contraband on the Tyne, but now, as a successful businessman, he seems to have it all. However, his troubled past comes back to haunt him, threatening his newfound security.
