അച്ഛനും മകളും തമ്മിലുള്ള ബന്ധത്തെപ്പറ്റി പറയുന്ന ചിത്രമാണ് ഗ്രാജ്വേഷന്‍. മകളുടെ ഭാവിയില്‍ വലിയ സ്വപ്‌നങ്ങള്‍ കാണുന്ന അച്ഛന്‍റെ കഥയാണ്. എന്നാല്‍ മകള്‍ക്കുണ്ടാകുന്ന അപകടത്തെത്തുടര്‍ന്ന് അച്ഛന്‍ ആശങ്കാകുലനാകുന്നു. ട്രാന്‍സില്‍വാനിയയിലെ മലയോരഗ്രാമത്തിലാണ് കഥ നടക്കുന്നത്. ഒരു ദുരന്തം സാധാരണ കുടുംബത്തിന് ഏല്‍പ്പിക്കുന്ന പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങളെ അതിജീവിക്കാന്‍ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നത് ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെ സംവിധായകന്‍ ആവിഷ്‌കരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
