Checking the Gate

Vladamir is a mysterious Russian carrying a suitcase full of money. But the money is not his, it is Al Qaeda's money. In a desperate bid to make off with the money, Vladamir kidnaps a punk girl and demands that she write his life story as they drive across Southern California from Hollywood to the mountains.
