RTÉ One

One to One is an Irish television series which airs on RTÉ One. Since the first edition was broadcast at 12:15pm on 1 October 2006, the programme has featured personal interviews with a well-known figure from Ireland and abroad, one per episode. The second series moved to a Monday slot, beginning on 1 October 2007. A third series was broadcast during the summer months of June and July 2008. The fourth series commenced airing on 10 November 2008. Series presenters have included Aine Lawlor, Bryan Dobson, George Lee, Richard Crowley, Paul Cunningham, John Murray and Cathal Mac Coille. Guests to have featured in the series include Hans Blix, Michael Smurfit, Michael Colgan, Ben Dunne, clergymen Diarmuid Martin and Peter Sutherland, Ulick McEvaddy, T. K. Whitaker, Seymour Hersh, Alan Johnston, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Seán FitzPatrick, Roy Foster, Samantha Power, Declan Ganley and Jeffrey Sachs. Each edition is typically approximately forty minutes length in total, with all the interviews available to watch online at RTÉ.ie.

Showhouse is an Irish makeover reality television series broadcast on RTÉ One. Presented by the interior architect Neville Knott, it is a creation of Vision Independent Productions, responsible for the popular television shows, The Restaurant and Colm and Jim-Jim's Home Run. The concept of the show is that two professional interior designers take over two newly built and identical houses and compete to create a winning interior design. They have approximately twelve weeks to plan their design, followed by six days spent working on the interior. The seventh day is launch day when the public are allowed access to vote on the winning design. There have thus far been four series. A number of once-off celebrity editions have been broadcast; Linda Martin and Kevin Sharkey featured in the one after series two, whilst series four was followed up by featuring the models Pamela Flood and Lisa Murphy in an episode which was broadcast on 29 December 2008.

Brendan O'Carroll's Hot Milk and Pepper is an RTÉ television quiz show show presented by Brendan O'Carroll and also starring Gerry Browne that was broadcast for two series between 1996 and 1998. The show featured two teams of four competing each week.

The Late Late Tribute Shows are a series of special editions of the world's longest-running chat show, The Late Late Show broadcast on RTÉ One in Ireland each Friday evening. Over decades the shows has featured a broad range of well-known public figures including Micheál Mac Liammóir, Joe Dolan, Maureen Potter, Michael O'Hehir, Brian Lenihan, Jimmy Magee, Christy Moore, Mike Murphy and Paul McGrath. In 1999, there was a special programme marking six months since the Omagh bombing and there was also a special show in the wake of 9/11. There were also tribute shows celebrating Irish music and a Late Late Show special devoted to Irish comedians. Individual bands and musicians to have been given a tribute show include The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem, The Chieftains, The Dubliners, U2, Westlife and, most recently, Ronnie Drew himself. The Tribute Shows, along with the Toy Show, tends to be one of the few editions of The Late Late Show to require advance preparation before the week of broadcast.

Oireachtas Report is an Irish political television programme broadcast on RTÉ One. Presented by Conor Hunt, Joe MagRaoillaigh and Sandra Hurley one per edition, it transmits nightly highlights of that day's proceedings in the national parliament of Ireland, known as the Oireachtas.

Up for the Match is an Irish Gaelic games-themed variety show currently hosted by Des Cahill and Gráinne Seoige. The show is broadcast live in two editions each year on RTÉ One on the eve of the respective All-Ireland hurling and football finals. Up for the Match features a mixture of music and chat with special guests and experts from the world of Gaelic games.

Capital D is an Irish television programme broadcast on RTÉ One. It was first broadcast in 2005. Presented by Anne Cassin, the programme focuses on human interest stories and cultural events in the Dublin area, serving as a more specific counterpart to the Nationwide programme, which focuses on issues throughout Ireland. Each programme typically includes at least three topics over a thirty minute period, each introduced by the presenter with no commercial breaks. Amongst the features that have been included in the programme are a landscaping company, a football club and a wrestler. The theme music is "Brewing Up a Storm" by The Stunning. The show is usually broadcast on Thursday evenings at 19:00; however one edition aired on Sunday 9 November 2008. Specials during Christmas have also been broadcast. RTÉ announced that it would not be on the schedules for 2012, with presenter Anne Cassin moving to Nationwide.

European Parliament Report is an Irish Television programme broadcast on RTÉ One and RTÉ News Now. It is produced by RTÉ News and Current Affairs. The programme airs weekly on Sunday nights at around midnight usually after The Week in Politics. The programme features reports of recent happenings from the European Parliament in Strasbourg. The programme is filmed from inside the European Parliament buildings and usually features a panel of guests discussing the recent proceedings in parliament. The programme is presented by Ray Colgan.

Leader's Questions is an Irish TV programme broadcast on RTÉ One and RTÉ News Now. It is produced by RTÉ News and Current Affairs and is presented by Bryan Dobson with RTÉ Political Correspondent David McCullough acting as relief presenter. The programme airs every Wednesday at 10:25 during the Dáil term and broadcasts live proceedings from Leinster House of questions proposed by opposition leaders in parliament to the Taoiseach. The programme is on air for 45 minutes. Before and after the proceedings the presenter usually chairs analysis of the proceedings with a panel of guests.

Good Grief Moncrieff! is an Irish chat show show hosted by Seán Moncrieff. The show aired live on Saturday nights as a summer "filler" between 15 June and 24 August 1996.

Make 'Em Laugh is an Irish comedy show hosted by Gay Byrne. The studio-based clip show aired for one series in 1999 and featured Byrne taking a look at some classic comedy moments from the RTÉ Archives.

Live at 3 is a popular Irish afternoon chat show broadcast live on RTÉ 1. Presented by Thelma Mansfield and Derek Davis, it was RTÉ's flagship daytime show from 1986 until 1997. Ireland's most successful Daytime TV programme, reaching audiences of 300,000 at times, both young and old. The Monday edition was produced for older viewers and evolved from " Going Strong" presented by Bunny Carr.

Charity Lords of the Ring is an Irish reality television competition, broadcast on RTÉ One. Presented by Lucy Kennedy and ex-boxer Barry McGuigan, the four-part series follows ten personalities compete for their charity of choice, in the field of boxing. British broadcaster BBC is reported to be interested in the show. Charity Lords of the Ring is broadcast over four episodes on 15 August, 18 August, 19 August and 22 August 2009. It is produced by Screentime ShinAwil and sponsored by Sona Vitamins. Over €100,000 is anticipated to be donated to the charities involved, with €26,000 going to the winner. The show marks the television production debut of Brian Ormond. One of the contestants left the show before broadcasts began due to a potentially life-threatening swelling to the brain. The show's finalists were Paul Martin and Sean Gallagher. The final was attended by several females including socialite and model Rosanna Davison, pop singer, television personality, and sometime glamour model Michelle Heaton as well as Pippa O'Connor and Tara Sinnott. Seán Gallagher, despite having only partial eyesight, won the series.

The Pressure Cooker is a once-off fly on the wall documentary broadcast on RTÉ One. It follows the successful efforts of celebrity chef Dylan McGrath to obtain a Michelin star for his business, Mint, in Ranelagh, Dublin. It was broadcast on 4 February 2008 at 21:30. McGrath was noted in the Irish media and in the general cuisine profession for his repeated shouting and swearing at his staff during the filming of this documentary.

Garda ar Lár is an Irish television series, the second season of which was broadcast on RTÉ One throughout January and February 2009. It examines incidents where members of the country's Garda Síochána lost their lives since the foundation of the state. Over thirty members of the force have lost their lives in this time. The series was broadcast each Monday at 19:30.

On the Street Where You Live is a six-part Irish documentary television series broadcast on RTÉ One. It examined six different streets in six different Irish cities, one per episode. The stories are told through local characters who have witnessed great changes come about on the streets of their home city throughout their lifetime. Some footage from the programmes is available to view online at RTÉ.ie. The series was originally aired in January – February 2009 each Friday at 19:30. Each episode is thirty minutes in length and featured streets from the cities of Dublin, Galway, Dundalk, Limerick, Cork and Kilkenny.

The View is an Irish television programme broadcast on RTÉ One between 1999 and 2011. Presented by John Kelly, it centred on arts-related topics. It was initially known as Later On 2 and was presented by various presenters until John Kelly joined RTÉ from Today FM, Later On 2 was broadcast on first Network 2 in 1997, it later rebranded as The View, it remained in the same broadcast slot but on RTÉ One until 13 December, 2011. The View featured reviews of books, exhibitions, films, music, theatre and art. There was a varied panel of contributors who offer their opinions including artists, writers, journalists, film-makers and critics. The programme was broadcast each Tuesday night. The series producer was Angela Ryan and it was directed by Declan Byrne. The show's theme track was "Rodney Yates" by Belfast musician David Holmes.
