Working Lunch was a television programme broadcast on BBC Two which covered business, personal finance and consumer news between 1994 and 2010. The programme was first aired on 19 September 1994. It had a quirky, relaxed style, especially when compared to other BBC business shows such as World Business Report. In April 2010, the BBC announced that the programme was being cancelled at the end of July 2010. GMT with George Alagiah took its place in the schedule at 12:30 on BBC Two.

Congo is a 2001 BBC nature documentary series for television on the natural history of the Congo River of Central Africa. In three episodes, the series explores the variety of animals and habitats that are to be found along the river’s 4,700 km reach. Congo was produced for the BBC Natural History Unit and the Discovery Channel by Scorer Associates. The series writer/producer was Brian Leith and the executive producer was Neil Nightingale. Series consultants were Michael Fay, Kate Abernethy, Jonathan Kingdon and Lee White. Little filming was possible in the Democratic Republic of the Congo which encompasses the vast majority of the river's watershed. The reason for this is that the Second Congo War was underway during filming. The series forms part of the Natural History Unit's Continents strand and was preceded by Andes to Amazon in 2000 and Wild Africa later that year in 2001.

Cooking in the Danger Zone is a documentary television series produced by the BBC and presented by Stefan Gates. In each film food writer Gates explores unusual food stories in some of the world’s more dangerous places. He uses food to explore and understand people’s culture and the challenges they face. He has eaten such obscure foods as rat in India, baby seal in the Arctic and radioactive soup in Chernobyl. Series three completed filming in October 2007 and it aired on BBC Two in March 2008.

Troubleshooter was a British reality television series, produced and shown by the BBC, focusing on experienced business leaders visiting and advising small and often struggling UK businesses. Launched in 1990 with Sir John Harvey-Jones MBE ex of ICI, the series ran successfully for five series. After the series won a BAFTA, Harvey-Jones decided that he didn't want to become a television personality, after one newspaper called him the "most famous industrialist since Isambard Kingdom Brunel." The greatest achievement of the Troubleshooter programmes was to make business management a popular discussion subject in the homes of millions of British people, and to provide a role model for people wanting to enter business. The series was revived a decade later in 2004 under the stewardship of Gerry Robinson, under the title I'll Show Them Who's Boss!'

The Wright Taste is a five-part BBC Wales documentary series that started in late October 2008. It follows food critic and restaurateur Simon Wright's journey farming animals from field to fork. Simon is a partner in the restaurant Y Polyn in South West Wales. Y Polyn also features on cookery show The Hairy Bikers' Food Tour of Britain.
