Salvage operator Harry Broderick buys and sells scrap as well as electronics, aircraft, and other equipment. Harry constantly has grandiose schemes to make money, sometimes not completely honestly. In the pilot, his dream is to recover equipment left on the Moon during Apollo Program missions, for he believes the salvage value will make it a worthwhile venture. In the show's opening title narration, Harry states: "I wanna build a spaceship, go to the Moon, salvage all the junk that's up there, bring it back, sell it."

Brewster Place is a short lived American drama series which aired on ABC in May 1990. The series was a spinoff of the 1989 miniseries The Women of Brewster Place, which was based upon Gloria Naylor's novel of the same name. Oh Madeline was an American sitcom that was broadcast on ABC from September 27, 1983 to March 13, 1984. Starring Madeline Kahn, the show revolved around Madeline Wayne, a housewife bored after 10 years of marriage to Charlie, a sweet but square man who made his living writing steamy romance novels under the name Crystal Love. Madeline's best friend was Doris, a timid divorcee previously married to Charlie's best friend, a middle-aged swinger named Bob. Annie was Charlie's amorous editor. Madeline, bored with her predictable, sedate existence in a middle-class suburb, and wanting to put some zest back in into her life, decides to try every trendy diversion that she can find - such as seaweed-based health foods, exercise clubs, and "ladies only" clubs featuring male strippers. The show contained a lot of slapstick comedy, as well as marital misunderstandings in the tradition of I Love Lucy.

After an eleven-year absence, Red Buttons returns to TV in a light, mild comedy about an accountant who's asked to impersonate a foreign spy. Instead of leaning on gimmicks and action, the show leans on comedian Buttons and he supplies the bulk of the laughs trying to ride a fancy horse while carrying out his espionage mission. Another asset is character actor Fred Clark, playing the spy chief with a good-humored flair,

The Wayne Brady Show is a variety show hosted by comedian Wayne Brady that aired in two separate forms. On August 8, 2001 ABC, for whom Brady had been working as a panelist on Whose Line Is It Anyway?, launched the first Wayne Brady Show as a primetime variety series that failed to catch on and was cancelled in March 2002. Later that fall, plans to bring the show back as a daily syndicated daytime series came to fruition and The Wayne Brady Show premiered on local stations nationwide on September 3, 2002. Although the show was a hit at the start, the ratings began sliding during the first season and continued into its second, and on May 21, 2004 The Wayne Brady Show aired its final episode.

Off The Rack is an American comedy television series set in the Los Angeles garment industry that aired on ABC between 1984 and 1985. The series stars Ed Asner and Eileen Brennan and was originally directed by Noam Pitlik. Its taping location was the Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California. It was canceled after six regular episodes and 1 half-hour pilot, which aired as a special on December 7, 1984. Off the Rack premiered as a regular series in the middle of the 1984-1985 television season as a mid-season replacement on ABC on the same day as Mr. Belvedere. Writer Lissa Levin and director Noam Pitlik would go on to work for that series, following Off the Rack's cancellation.
