Heishiro gaat op jacht naar een Samurai die een kostbaar Shogun zwaard van zijn vader heeft gestolen. Twee vrienden helpen hem daarbij. Wanneer hij zelf gewond raakt en één van zijn vrienden sterft wordt hij opgelapt door een oude samurai. Eenmaal hersteld wil Heishiro nog slechts wraak. De oude samurai probeert de jeugd tot kalmte te manen, maar raakt zelf ook betrokken bij de strijd.
