Parkwachter Angelica roept de hulp in van haar ex-vriend Viktor, hondengeleider, om te zoeken naar een vermiste vrouw in een gevaarlijk natuurgebied in Zweden. De zoektocht wordt bemoeilijkt door een verontrustende mythe over de Cave Banshee, een wraakzuchtige geest uit de Scandinavische folklore die ooit mijnwerkers naar hun dood lokte in de verraderlijke grotten van het reservaat. Terwijl ze dieper het bos in duiken, begint Viktor te twijfelen aan zijn eigen gezond verstand en of de geruchten over Banshee meer zijn dan alleen een mythe. Tot overmaat van ramp delen Angelica en Viktor een pijnlijke geschiedenis met de spookachtige plek. Viktor moet nu zijn moeilijke verleden onder ogen zien en samenwerken met Angelica om de nacht te overleven en het mysterie achter de verdwijning van de vrouw te ontrafelen.
