Zes maanden na de uitbraak van een virus in Groot-Brittannië verklaart het Amerikaanse leger de ziekte onder controle te hebben. Hoewel een groot deel van het land nog steeds in quarantaine is, wordt Londen langzaam heropgebouwd en nemen de overlevenden opnieuw hun intrek in de stad. Maar wanneer een drager van het virus zijn weg naar de hoofdstad vindt en ziek wordt, breekt de hel opnieuw los.

Peter Parker is een jonge, middelbare school student, die sinds de plotselinge verdwijning van zijn ouders bij zijn oom Ben en tante May woont.
