Het verhaal speelt zich af in de niet al te verre toekomst. Een groep met huurmoordenaars vertrekt naar een in quarantaine geplaatst gebied in Las Vegas om daar een heist te verrichten. Een probleem: het gebied barst van de zombies. Een vader wil zijn dochter redden van een naderende dood.

Als baby was Dar, de zoon van een koning, ontvoerd door een heks die handelde in opdracht van de slechte tovenaar Maax. Op het moment dat Dar geofferd zou worden, wordt hij gered door een oude man. De man voedt Dar op als zijn eigen zoon en leert hem zich te verdedigen. Ondertussen ontwikkelt Dar het vermogen om telepathisch te communiceren met dieren. Hun vreedzame leven wordt echter verstoord door een groep beestachtige soldaten onder het commando van Maax. Dar zweert wraak en gaat op reis naar het koninkrijk van zijn echte vader om Maax te verslaan.

Wanneer de jonge monnik Tang Sanzang in het nauw gedreven wordt door een tijger, helpt een geheimzinnig figuur hem uit de nood. Het blijkt de 'apenkoning' Sun Wukong te zijn. Samen gaan ze op zoek naar de heilige geschriften die opgeborgen liggen op de berg Vulture Peak, maar White Bone Demon denkt daar anders over.

In deze live action film worden twee kleine tijgerbroertjes in de jungle van Cambodja gevangen en van elkaar gescheiden. Eén tijgertje komt in het circus terecht en één wordt het huisdier van de zoon van de gouverneur. Na jaren zien ze elkaar weer, omdat ze tegen elkaar moeten vechten in een georganiseerde wedstrijd. Na al die jaren herkennen ze elkaar en ze weten samen te ontsnappen. Met hun bazen op de hielen, vluchten ze de jungle in.

Productions previous series about cat based heroes Iron Man Tiger 7 is set in modern Japan. Takigawa Go gets the power to transform into Tetsujin Tiger Seven from an artificial heart and a magic pendent. To transform he utters the henshin phrase "Tiger Spark". Takigawa Go is played by Tatsuya Nanjô who also starred in Toei's Henshin Ninja Arashi. Go rides a Suzuki motorcycle with rocket boosters. When he transforms into Tiger Seven the motorcycle transforms as well to become "Spike Go". Spike Go can drive itself, coming to its master's aid when Tiger 7 roars. Tetsujin Tiger 7 was apparently P. Production's attempt at a Kamen Rider style series. They even hired Shunsuke Kikuchi composer of the 1970s Kamen Rider music to write the music for Tetsujin Tiger 7.
