The possibility of a brilliant career, fame and a lot of money was opening up to him, the Polish Junior Champion in Kickboxing. Serious heart disease shattered these plans. Arek dreams of renting a flat and freeing himself from his alcoholic father. Together with Lalka, Panicz, Mucha and Renata - his closest friends, he often visits the Kosmos pub, owned by the local mafioso Marsel. One day Marsel offers Arek and Mucha a jump: they are to break into the apartment on the top floor of a skyscraper.

When he tumbles out of a window, Hamster sets an avalanche of minor catastrophes in motion. It turns out that the small, local community is incapable of finding either a common language or a single set of values. The innocent are the ones who pay the price for this failure.

Rumsza, the elderly railwayman, leading a sedate life with his wife, misses his only remaining son (two older boys were killed in the war). Joziuk finally returns from the military in the first scene but with the pregnant Zosia, while Rumsza expected him to marry Celinka, the daughter of Krywka, his only friend and neighbour. The hero will not accept the new situation; he throws his son and Zosia out of his house. Celinka is distressed but she still harbours hope for Joziuk. The birth of the child changes the situation: Rumsza accepts his son's relationship but Celinka decides to leave.

39 i pół is a Polish comedy-drama television series that appeared on TVN for three seasons from March 4, 2008 through December 1, 2009. The series tells the story about Darek, a man just before his 40th birthday who wants go back to his wife and teenage son.

Włatcy móch is a Polish adult animated comedy series, which had been on the Polish TV channel TV4 between November 2006 and December 2010. The title is a misspelled version of "Władcy much" meaning "The Lords of Flies" and derives from William Golding's novel Lord of the Flies. The plot of the story revolves around four 8-year-old boys in the second grade of elementary school: Anusiak, Konieczko, Maślana, and Czesio. The director and writer of the show is Bartek Kędzierski. He also dubs one of characters - Czesio. The show has a total of 127 regular and 2 special episodes. An entire movie that features the four boys has also been made. The Comedy won Świry 2008 award in category "TV Series".

Miś Uszatek and his friends - Prosiaczek, Króliczki and Zajączek, as well as Kruczek the Puppy - were loved by pre-teen kids. At the same time, Uszatek, a teddy bear, played the role of a friend from kindergarten. He was also liked by parents, as he would always go to bed at appropriate hour, singing the goodnight song: Altogether, Se-ma-for created 104 episodes of the cartoon; the last one was made in 1987. In the 1960s, two theatrical movies about the friendly bear were made. Also, in the fall of 2007, the Se-ma-for studio announced that it was planning to make more episodes, but later these plans changed in favor of a possible full-length movie, to be created with help from the Japanese company Eden Entertainment.
