Den mislykkede komikeren Arthur Fleck er langsomt på vei inn i galskapen, når han forvandler seg til den kriminelle mesterhjernen Joker.

Når barn begynner å forsvinne i den lille byen Derry i Maine, blir en gruppe unge barn stående overfor sin største redsel idet de tar opp kampen mot en ond klovn kalt Pennywise, hvis historie med mord og vold går flere århundre tilbake.

Den unge jenta Mia besøker et omreisende tivoli og oppfordres av en mystisk klovn til å undersøke et sirkustelt. Der får hun se showet til den utrolige akrobaten Aerialist, men noe går galt, det skjer en ulykke, og Mia befinner seg plutselig i en parallell fantasiverden.

27 år etter deres skremmende møte med Pennywise får Losers Club beskjeden de hele tiden har fryktet - å dra tilbake til Derry og fullføre jobben de begynte på.

Den lille elefanten Dumbo er født med noen aldeles for store ører, og når han kommer til sirkuset for første gang blir han gjort narr av. Hans gode venn, musen Timmi gjør sitt beste for å hjelpe Dumbo, men de store ørene er konstant i veien. Plutselig en dag oppdager Dumbo at han kan noe som ingen andre kan – han kan nemlig fly!

Bumba is a mischievous, but always cheerful clown in a circus full of sound and color full of staging tricks. He gets help from his best friends Bumbalu, the Kiwi bird, the bear Nanadu, the elephant Tumbi and many other brightly colored figures cheerfully join him.

Blah Blah the Clown ( the kids know him as ) aka Eddie Oswald is a man who always wanted to be an actor. One day Eddie had gotten so fed up with his mother that he ran away to Hollywood with hisbest friend Daniel. He aggressively auditioned for the role of ‘Blah Blah’ for the children’s television show and eventually landed the part. Eventually, the stardom got to his head and he grew upset with most (if not, all) of the kids and workers on the show, so Clive Butler, the Founder of ‘Butler Sweets and Such’ and the “Quiet Time” show, replaced the children on the show with puppets. Even after this decision, Eddie is still very rude and it seems everyone except Clive really hates working with him. One day on set Eddie had an outrage at the head of costume design, Deborah Tomlin, over his wig. The next morning Deborah was found dead in her apartment
