Inspektør Jacques Clouseau - et navn som lammer forbrytere med skrekk overalt hvor det uttales - og alle andre også, for den saks skyld! Kanskje skyldes det at hans logiske evner er så utilstrekkelige, hans forståelse for det innlysende så flyktig, hans beherskelse av språket så kraftig begrenset, og hans fysiske koordineringsevner så totalt fraværende. Men om hans fremgangsmåter er uortodokse og ofte komplett uforståelige, er det slik at han alltid løser mysteriet - på sitt eget, spesielle vis. Han må løse mysteriet med hvem som tok livet av en berømt fotballtrener, og finne ut hvem som stjal den berømte rosa panter-diamanten.

Sentrale personer i San Franciscos underverden blir tatt av dage. En etter en får kjeltringer som har unnsluppet tiltale, den straffen de fortjener. En type straff man skulle tro at Dirty Harry ville nikke anerkjennende til med sitt spesielle smil. Tror du det har du feilbedømt Harry - og det har drapsmennene også.

De komiske geniene Blake Edwards og Peter Sellers møtes igjen i The Return of the Pink Panther. “Pink Panter-Diamanten” er stjålet, og tyven har kun etterlatt ett spor – en hvit hanske, kjennemerket til den verdenskjente juveltyven The Phantom. Selv om alle trodde han hadde trukket seg tilbake, blir han straks en av inspektør Clouseaus hovedmistenkte. The Phantom ønsker å renvaske seg, og forsøker å finne den virkelige tyven mens han setter Clouseau på sporet av en falsk ledetråd. Førstebetjent Dreyfus, sjefen til Inspector Closeau, får til slutt nok av Closeaus idiotiske påfunn, og bestemmer seg for å drepe ham for å bli kvitt ham en gang for alle!

Jonathan Rivers har mistet sin kone under mystiske omstendigheter. Etter en tid får han vite at hun har tatt kontakt fra det hinsidige, og at stemmen hennes kan høres i telefonen. Jonathan blir besatt av å finne henne.

Den syvende av filmene om den franske inspektøren Jacques Clouseau ble også den siste, da Peter Sellers døde under innspillingen. I stedet for å skrinlegge filmen, gjorde regissør Blake Edwards den til en kavalkade med klipp fra tidligere filmer, til minne om Sellers.

Ekteparet Olav og Ingrid Femte kjøper tomt og hus av entreprenøren Kleppe, som lover å ha huset ferdig på 10 måneder. Det høres forholdsvis enkelt ut, men det varer ikke lenge før alt blir mer enn kaotisk... Rolv Wesenlund spiller ikke mindre enn åtte forskjellige roller i denne vanvittige hulter-til-bulterkomedien. Han er bl.a. snekker, elektriker, politibetjent, bankmann, rallykjører og ondskapsfull nabo i noe av det galeste norsk komikk har prestert, hvilket ikke sier så lite! Bjørn Sand og Thea Stabell spiller Olav og Ingrid Femte, Arve Opsahl er Kleppe og i andre roller medvirker flotte navn som Sølvi Wang og Aud Schønemann. Det blir ganske enkelt ikke bedre enn dette her!

Inspired by the characters of Lot Pot Comics, Motu Patlu is a lively comic caper for the kids as well as the entire family. Set in the beautiful city of Furfuri Nagariya, the story is about Motu and Patlu, who are as similar as chalk and cheese. The Awesome Twosome are always on an adventurous expedition and have an uncanny ability to get into tricky situations every single day! It was premiered on 16 October 2012, beginning with the episode "John Banega Don". It focuses on two friends, Motu and Patlu, living in the fictional city Furfuri Nagar.

Homicide was an Australian television police drama series The series dealt with the homicide squad of the Victorian Police force and the various crimes and cases the detectives are called upon to investigate. Many episodes were based on real life crime cases.

Witse is a Dutch language crime drama produced by Belgian broadcaster VRT and broadcast on their één channel. It is also shown on BVN. First broadcast in 2004, as of 2010 the programme comprises eight series with a ninth and final series planned for 2012. It stars Hubert Damen as the eponymous Witse, a driven inspector in the Belgian federal police based in Halle. It is one of the most popular Flemish television programmes with some 1.6 million viewers. There are also Witse books. The first three were based on the last two episodes of each season, but since 2010 every six months a brand new story is published, written and invented by established Belgian writers, as Bob Van Laerhoven and Bart Van Lierde. The music for Witse is composed by Steve Willaert.

20 years ago a half-frozen boy was rescuded in the mountains after his parents apparent sucide. Somehow a journalist's research about a corrupt construction magnate and another unsolved murder that happend in the mountains 13 years ago are also linked to the case.

Popular actor M. Jampolskis plays the main role of Andrius Mažylis, a small town police inspector. In the film, the policeman is accompanied everywhere by his service German shepherd named Mažylis. After returning to his hometown to work with the dog after several years spent at the police academy, Andrius finds a very changed environment: now everything is ruled by criminals and corrupt local officials. A. Mažylis and his namesake dog will have to work hard to restore order and peace to his hometown.
