Når Miami Dolphins kjæreste maskot "Snowflake" på mystisk vis forsvinnerfra sin "bolig" i Miami, står politiet måpende tilbake uten spor. I desperasjon henvender de seg til Ace Ventura, en mildest talt merkelig "detektiv" som kler seg som en klovn, spiser solsikkefrø sammen med papegøyene sine og har hårsveis som halen på en undulat. ikke akkurat en fyr du setter din lit til, men Ace gyver løs på oppgaven med så stor glød og intens iver at det hele kan virke som det fullkomne idioti! Men det finnes et spor han nekter å gi slipp på, et spor han er hellig overbevist om vil føre ham til sakens kjerne. Koste hva det vil!

Livet kunne ikke vært søtere for Pusur, verdens desiderte favorittkatt. Dumme Jølle jager halen sin til han blir svimmel, kolliderer med vegger, bjeffer uten grunn, alt til Jons ubeherskede glede som ønsker ham hjertelig velkommen til sitt hjem.

Manusforfatter og regissør Wes Craven vender tilbake til de mørkeste skyggene i Elm Street med denne grøsserhistorien, som gjenforener Nightmare-stjernene Robert Englund, Heather Langenkamp og John Saxon. Puffin's Pla(i)ce is a British regional children's programme named after it's star, Oscar Puffin, that's broadcast on ITV Channel Television on weekend afternoons. The programme, one of the longest-running children's series to air on the ITV network, has been broadcast since 3 March 1963. Originally presented by Channel Television's team of continuity announcers, recent Puffin's Pla(i)ce presenters have included Stewart McDonald, Kevin Pamplin, Sam Palmano, Lucy Anderson and currently, Jenny Mullin. In September 2013 it was announced the show would no longer be broadcast on TV, but would move to an online format at the Channel Online website. The last TV edition was broadcast on 15th September 2013.
