A mother enters an old home for her autistic daughter's therapy. Unexpectedly, the daughter start speaking but has encountered dark entities from the past seeking payback. The family faces supernatural forces related to the home's history.

The film is loosely based on real life events of Marianna de Leyva, better known as "The Nun of Monza," whose story was made famous by the Alessandro Manzoni's novel The Betrothed.
