Zuhal, a successful lawyer living alone in the center of Istanbul, begins to hear the sound of a cat in her house one day. She sets out on a quest in her apartment to find this cat, which no one has heard of but herself.

The Bülbül family consists of Hazım Bey and his wife Asiye Hanım, their daughter Nevin, their son-in-law Ramazan, and their son Tosun. Hazım Bey retired after thirty years of civil service. Ramazan is caught between enduring his mother-in-law's sharp remarks, trying to fulfill his father-in-law's various requests while he stays home all day, and dealing with his brother-in-law Tosun. The X Factor is the Greek version of The X Factor, a show originating in the United Kingdom. It is a television music talent show contested by aspiring pop singers drawn from public auditions. Auditions are held in Greece in the cities of Athens and Thessaloniki, as well as in Cyprus in the city of Nicosia. Auditions for the third X Factor were also held in New York City. Applicants from the Greek diaspora are also accepted. The show is broadcast live in Greece and Cyprus, as well as abroad via ANT1's international stations. Loukas Giorkas, winner of the first series, Stavros Michalakakos, winner of the second series and Haris Antoniou, winner of the third series, are all from Cyprus.

Super Idol was the first Greek version of the British television hit show Pop Idol. It was a talent contest to find a pop performer. The first series of the show, from February 8 to June 17, 2004, was hosted by Themis Georgantas and the winner was Stavros Konstantinou. Due to low ratings Mega Channel has decided to cancel after only one season, however Georgian runner-up Tamta Goduadze achieved major success and established herself in the Greek music industry afterwards. The panel of judges for the first season of the show were Elena Katrava, Kostantis Spyropoulos and Ilias Psinakis.
