Idan and Elad, both straight, meet for the first time after they are picked up by a girl they each meet at a bar. The three of them go back to her place and end up in bed together but the men, during the act, are inexplicably unable to take their eyes off each other. After the girl has fallen asleep, Idan and Elad, sitting in bed and unable to sleep, initiate an awkward conversation, both trying to reach out to the other and understand those new feelings stirring inside of them.
"Chasing a star" Was produced by the actor's school "empiro" and was produced by its students, alumni, and some of the teachers. Director Avi Malka is the school principal. He wrote the concept as a short sketch the school's final project. Taking this a a fact, we should judge the this project indulgently. All things considered, this is an excellent cinematic effort and very much worth the price of the ticket.
