An unnamed explorer ventures to Korčanica, deep in the heart of Mount Grmeč, to film a vlog about an abandoned and mysterious monument from the Yugoslav era. But as he approaches the structure, he’s no longer certain that he’s the only visitor there. Or is he?
This time, the favorite hero Chedo gets a new, not easy task. The director assigns him to host a famous director and organizes the recording of a dramatic play with amateur actors. Cheda's mission is clear - to find actors and prepare an audition. But, as always, nothing goes smoothly. Chedo goes around the village, offers work to neighbors and even his own wife. He encounters numerous rejections, disbelief and comical situations, but, with a lot of trouble and even more wit, he manages to gather a team of "talented" actors. The situation is further complicated by the appearance of new, suspicious characters in the village, who are also wanted by the police.

Built solely from forensic visual archive and testimonies, Silence of Reason acts as a memory itself: elusive, fluid, rejecting framing, moving in all directions, spatial and temporal. The singular experiences of violence and torture to women from the Foča rape camps during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina become our own collective memories, surpassing time and space.

The same year they have their first concert under that name and shortly after that they enter a recording studio and record their first demo. 30 years later, after the war, 5 albums, a dozen of hits, countless gigs, and plenty of line-up changes, Protest still exists and works. This is a tale about love, music, and rebellion in the complex Balkan reality, symbolically titled PROTEST IN CARIESLAND.

Today, in a Bosnia fighting for EU membership yet threatened by possible return to war, the new generations, often in contrast with their parents, are desperate to find a way to live together for a different, peaceful tomorrow.
