"Makedonium: Dramaturgy of the Unfinished" is a collaborative film by director Teona Strugar Mitevska and artists Hristina Ivanoska and Jane Čalovski, based on the book of the same name by Ivanoska and Čalovski, which focuses on the story of "Makedonium", the most prominent memorial complex built in socialist Macedonia between 1969-1974 and reveals unknown pages of Macedonian history.

In retaliation for supporting freedom fighters, the Turks besiege a wedding, capturing over two hundred villagers and sentencing them to lengthy prison terms. These prisoners are then transported to Asia Minor, enduring severe hardships and humiliation through the desert, with many perishing along the way before reaching their final destination in October 1908.
