Jacobo is fascinated by fairy tales. Convinced that a witch has appeared in the basement of his own house, he tries to destroy her, only to discover that reality is sometimes crueler than the fantasy.

“Terror en el tren de la medianoche” is an extremely obscure Spanish horror movie which is as rare as they come. The “Twilight Zone”-ish plot centres around middle-aged and balding station master Ruben, who is plagued by the vision of ghostly train. The train is always arriving at midnight to the accompaniment of eerie music whenever somebody in town has died. Swearing local priest Don Carmelo is skeptical. The main performance of Rafael Hernandez is competent and there is a bit of soft nudity provided by lovely Mari Paz Pondal.

(In a dark basement) Norma hears the faint voice of Everio and her own, from an Ampex vintage tape recorder. They have been talking incessantly, and *oftentimes the taped conversations coincide with their *chats. The only thing troubling Norma is that until that day, she and Everio had never met and the last she heard was Everio strangling her.

The musical group "Flor de Lis y los Dos del Orinoco" tours the fairs of the towns with their repertoire of old melodies. They arrive in Torremolinos and settle in a camping site. There they meet Johny, a cheeky "go-go boy" who lives off the land and, if possible, from foreigners. He joins them and turns them into a beat band. They dress like hippies and sing in English. Their new stage name is "Los Hippy-Loyas", and they present themselves to the public as a pop group from Liverpool. Their new life leads them to the most unusual adventures.

In 2009, a man and two accomplices try to evict members of the Indigenous community of Chuschagasta in northern Argentina. Claiming ownership of the land and armed with guns, they kill the community’s leader, Javier Chocobar. The murder is caught on video. It takes nine years of protests before court proceedings are finally opened in 2018. During all this time, the killers remain free. The film combines the voices and photographs of the community with courtroom footage to explore the long history of colonialism and land dispossession that led to this crime.

La Madrastra is a Mexican telenovela. It was produced by Televisa and broadcast on Canal de las Estrellas in Mexico from 7 February 2005 through 29 July 2005. The program became an unexpected success, garnering ratings in excess of 30 points. Starring Victoria Ruffo and César Évora, who last appeared together in 2000's Abrázame muy fuerte, La madrastra tells the story of María, a woman who lost twenty years of her life after being falsely accused of murder and who returns to Mexico to exact revenge on her husband and friends who abandoned her and to see her beloved children once more. La Madrastra is fourth in a series of remakes of the 1981 Chilean production of the same name. The program aired five nights a week, Monday through Friday, at 9 pm for 25 weeks. A follow-up special, La madrastra: años después, aired shortly after the finale on 30 July 2005.

Muchachitas is a Mexican telenovela. It was produced for Televisa by Emilio Larrosa, who also wrote the script during 1991 and 1992. The telenovela was also shown on Univisión in the early 1990s, and featured young up-and-coming actors who later became stars.

Los Exitosos Perez is the adaptation for Mexico of the Argentine telenovela Los Exitosos Pells. It's a co-production of Endemol and Telefe. Mexican producer José Alberto Castro acts as it executive producer. With a mixed cast of mostly Mexican and Argentinian actors, and a few from other nationalities, it was filmed on location in Argentina, in exactly the same sets used in the original Argentinian counterpart. It premiered in Mexico on 31 August 2009 on the Televisa network.

Sueños y Caramelos is a 2005 Mexican telenovela that starred Nashla Aguilar as a little girl who lives in an almacen where she assembles a Maniqui or Mannequin, which comes to life and becomes like a mother to her. Remake of La Pícara Soñadora

Esmeralda is a telenovela that was released by Televisa in 1997. It is a remake of a 1970 Venezuelan telenovela of that same name, and was itself remade in Brazil in 2004. Another version is Topacio from Venezuela in 1984. One of the most famous telenovela all the time.

Código Postal is a Mexican telenovela produced by Televisa and aired in Mexico on the network canal de las estrellas. It debuted on May 22, 2006 and finished on February 23, 2007 with hopes of duplicating the popularity of Mexican telenovela Rebelde which ended on June 2, 2006. Código Postal was replaced with Lola...Érase una vez. The serial takes place in Acapulco, a popular tourist destination in the state of Guerrero, Mexico. The series is set within an exclusive gated community where the bulk of the cast resides. Like many Mexican telenovelas the cast comprises young, attractive actors, and many of the plotlines revolve around suspense, heavy struggles, love and romance.

Alborada is a telenovela made by the Mexican TV network Televisa. It is an historical drama, set in colonial Panama and Mexico a few years before Mexican Independence from Spain. The series was broadcast from December 2005 to April 2006 on Univision in the United States. Alborada won the TV y Novelas award for best telenovela of the year.

Perla is a Mexican telenovela produced by TV Azteca and it starred Silvia Navarro and Leonardo Garcia as protagonists.
