No te Duermas is a Spanish-language television program, a late-night talk and variety show from Puerto Rico. It started airing in 1990 as a late night show with comedian Antonio Sanchez El Gangster in WSTE-TV SuperSiete. Later on, the show moved to Telemundo Puerto Rico, enjoying great success.

Yo Sé Que Mentía was a 1982 soap opera produced by Puerto Rico's WAPA-TV. It included Argentina's Daniel Guerrero, Puerto Rican dancing legend Iris Chacón, a young Adamari López, Amneris Morales and Miguel Ángel Suárez and Ángela Meyer as a married couple who tried to make Guerrero and Chacon's lives impossible, particularly Meyer's character. Yo Se Que Mentia became one of the most viewed Puerto Rican telenovelas in history, and the show's main song, also named Yo se que mentia became one of Chacon's biggest hits as a singer. The soap opera became an important part of Lopez's career. She was only 9 when she participated in it, and now she is a big international acting super-star.

Objetivo Fama was a Puerto Rican singing talent contest that aired for over six years on WLII, the Univision outlet in Puerto Rico; and on Telefutura in the mainland United States. It is produced by Soraya Sánchez ES Television. The program was loosely inspired by the late Puerto Rican singing talent contest and variety show, Voces en Función, and the Spanish reality show, Operación Triunfo. Twenty or so contestants are "bunkered" in a studio/house where they will live together for several months while participating in a weekly show where one of them is eliminated, en route to find a "young star". The winner of the show gets a record deal from Univision Music Group. The show's fifth season began on February 9, 2008. Contestants are evaluated by a panel of judges, and viewers can vote on who they want to stay or leave the competition. Also, during the week they are assisted by singing and dancing teachers, stylists, costume designers, personal trainers, etc. in the studio/house to help them shape and improve their talent and image. The show is often said to be the Spanish version of American Idol, although technically speaking, the official Spanish version of that show is Latin American Idol.

The program is produced by Yolanda Rosaly and broadcasts from the Univision Puerto Rico studios in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. The program is currently hosted by Elwood Cruz and Gricel Mamery.
