Liquid News was the daily round up of entertainment news for BBC Three running from 30 May 2000 to 1 April 2004. It was originally a vehicle for presenter Christopher Price. Following his death on 21 April 2002, the show continued with a variety of presenters including Colin Paterson, Claudia Winkleman, Iain Lee, Jasmine Lowson, Paddy O'Connell, Jo Whiley, Joe Mace and Amanda Byram. The programme originally evolved from Zero 30, the previous entertainment programme on BBC News 24, also hosted by Price. Once this was dropped from the 24 hour news channel, controller of the then BBC Choice, Stuart Murphy, took the format and brought it to the channel where it soon became the flagship programme as part of a radical change to the schedules of both digital-only BBC channels BBC Choice and BBC Knowledge from June 2000 as they became more focused and targeted to specific audiences. The show continued on BBC Three which replaced BBC Choice in February 2003, but in April 2004 the show was axed. Murphy, who also went on to be controller of BBC Three, stated that the show would end as a way to "refresh the channel's output to best serve the audience". The news element of the channel was unaffected by the ending of the programme with 60 Seconds and The 7 O'Clock News already in existence serving as the replacement. Although The 7 O'Clock News was later axed in 2005, 60 Seconds remains on BBC Three to this present day.

The show features 'Televisionary' and 'Truth Crusader' Christoph Spinelli who has come to the UK to do for British Crime what he's done for America - speculate to the point of insanity and manage to make a story out of absolutely nothing. In search of a miscarriage of justice to defend, Spinelli's documentary investigates the mysterious disappearance of Polly Worcester and her would-be attacker, Tom Jessop, with all the objectivity, truth and (most importantly) sexiness you would expect. Unfortunately for Tom, Spinelli is the last person you would want on your side...

The Revolution Will Be Televised is a British television satire show, which was first screened on BBC Three in August 2012. Writing for The Guardian, Sam Wollaston said it's "Sacha Baron Cohen with a bit more substance then, or Mark Steel with a few more laughs". At the 2013 British Academy Television Awards, the show won the Bafta for the Best Comedy Programme.

The Gemma Factor is a BBC Three sitcom starring Anna Gilthorpe, Claire King and Gwyneth Powell. The series is similar to many current programmes of this sort, by which it is simulcast on BBC Three and BBC HD. The series premiered on Tuesday 9 March 2010, and has six episodes.

Trexx and Flipside is a multi-platform British sitcom shown as part of BBC Three's spring schedule. It follows the story of Trexx and Flipside, two "wannabe hip hop stars". The duo are managed by "Wu Hah Management", as shown in the first episode. The show premiered on Sunday, 6 July 2008 at 11PM. The cast includes Rebecca Atkinson, known to British audiences for her work on Shameless. It also stars Rich Fulcher, who shot to fame as Bob Fossil in the cult TV hit The Mighty Boosh, and BBC 1Xtra DJ MistaJam as Trexx. David Ajala, who plays 'Flipside', has played Sean Campbell on Dream Team and had recently appeared in 'The Dark Knight', credited as 'Bounty Hunter #2', and appears in the scene where The Joker is brought in a bin-liner to the residence of one of the Gotham Mobsters. The show also starred Actor and musician Tyronne Lewis as Trexx and Flipside's nemesis B-ICE.

Dancing on Wheels is a British Reality TV show made by production company Fever Media and first broadcast on BBC Three on 11 February 2010. The concept of the show is that an able-bodied celebrity dances with a wheelchair user. The couples dance each week, and each week one couple is eliminated in a dance-off. In the final, the two remaining couples both perform two dances, and one couple wins the show and is selected to represent the UK in the European Championships.

Each series featured a group of athletic individuals travelling around the globe to take part in different tribal or traditional sports. Whoever physically outperforms the rest in the most challenges is declared the winner. The Wall was a British comedy television programme presented by Alexa Chung and Rhys Thomas. The programme was produced by Zeppotron for BBC Three and premiered on the channel on 8 April 2008. The programme featured a regular cast of Lucy Montgomery, We Are Klang, Simon Brodkin and Jamie Glassman who performed comedy sketches, interviews and music and were joined each week by celebrity guests. At the heart of the programme was a large video wall on which viewers could rate sketches and make suggestions. The show was named the "Worst British TV Panel Show/Satire of 2008" in The Comedy.co.uk Awards.
