Of the 10 members of the crew, two of them manage to make their way to Mersch (L) after an adventurous journey through Nazi Germany. It is the coded message that announces that the two US-Aviators have arrived safely back in the friendly lines. A masterpiece of the resistance group of Mersch (L). But what happened to their members afterwards? This movie sheds light on their fate and their courage ...

Down-and-out Mich is working in a soup kitchen when Fadi, a Syrian refugee, causes some disturbance by cutting the line. When Mich’s bag disappears that same day, he begins to suspect Fadi. In a haze of alcohol and spurred on by his friends, Mich wanders the streets in search for his bag.

However, for many, these hazardous jobs still represented a daily beacon of hope and financial security. This monumental film stands in the memory of the labor that went on behind four factory walls, documenting in “memento mori” fashion the vanishing world of industrial workers.
