An early silent film, made before intertites became common (which is why very early silent films are narrated, at best). This was filmed in 1907 but released in 1908. It was made at the request of Teddy Roosevelt, who saw coyotes being caught in Oklahoma *by hand*, and folks back east didn't believe him. While this movie is called "The Wolf Hunt", it was actually coyotes being caught, not wolves.
Laying the Foundation Stone of Gustav Adolf's Church.
Traveling by boat to film Copenhagen from a different angle.
This is a frustrating watch as there looks to be some great filmmaking there, but a number of scenes (including the beginning and end) are missing, the print is in poor condition. It looks very nice though and the production values are once again quite high, but the current presentation is a shame.
The Germans were not far behind when if came to experimenting with sound and the surviving discs seem like a curious anachronism because they closely resemble the Vitaphone discs from the mid-1920s: about sixteen inches in diameter and the track started from the center and the needle moved out.

Travelogue taking viewers on a tour of Stockholm in 1908. The film begins with a panoramic view from the Belvedere, then shows the busy harbor, wharves, and rail yard with a jack-knife bridge in operation. It concludes with a tram-top ride through the city’s main business streets, capturing the bustle of modern urban life. Issued in Sweden under the title Ett besök i Stockholm, it is distinct from the newsreel footage of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra’s state visit.
