At the nursing home "Hestehavehusene" in Aarhus, the residents have started seeing things. Things of a spiritual and supernatural nature, which none of the staff or visitors to the nursing home see. For many of the residents, these visions are recurring and appear as life approaches its end. They have seen everything from God and the Devil to birds transforming into gold.

On a cold evening he decides to go into a library where he finds all kinds of different worlds to escape to.

A friend group gets assigned to make a film years after a mysterious dissapearing, with one even being a lucky survivor. When past faces emerge from the shadows, desparate to keep the order in line, distrust causes cracks to form on both sides.
