Presented at the 12th Documenta in Kassel, Them is a recording of a social experiment performed by the artist. Żmijewski organised a workshop to which he invited four groups representing divergent ideological mindsets: members of nationalist Młodzież Wszechpolska (All-Polish Youth), women strongly attached to the Catholic Church, young Polish Jews and leftist organisation activists.

A group of students are bored while spending their summer days in Warsaw on the Vistula River. At the suggestion of a friend, they decide to go on a cheap tourist trip to Yugoslavia. Together with them, we explore the Adriatic coast, including: the islands of Šolta and Brač. On the way back they visit Makarska, Savina Monastery and Belgrade. The film was produced by the Polish Academic Union of International Rapprochement "Liga" - an inter-university association dealing with, among others, organizing trips and foreign exchanges. In 2022, it was reconstructed based on two copies brought in the 1970s from the archives in the GDR and the USSR.
Severances and Oppositions 1970

The protagonist of the film is a young person who explores the space she inhabits by interacting with furniture and everyday objects. She seeks a way to break out of schematic socio-cultural behavior and identity liberation.
The Secrets of Life 1960
In this documentary, the director proves that movement is one of the most important manifestations of life. The film reveals what is imperceptible to the naked eye, starting with the movement of single cells or cells themselves, and ending with the movements of unicellular protozoa.
