Toda zdi se, da ima usoda drugačne načrte, saj ga nova naloga pripelje v navzkrižje s smrtonosnimi nasprotniki z vseh koncev sveta – s povezanimi in hkrati nasprotujočimi si cilji – na najhitrejšem vlaku na svetu.

Čeprav so trije najbolj divji bojevniki v zgodovini človeštva: vikinška vojščakinja, ninja iz fevdalne Japonske in pilot iz 2. svetovne vojne, sami po sebi vrhunski ubijalci, so le plen za nezemeljskega predatorja z vzdevkom "morilec morilcev". Vsak od njih bije osebno bitko, da bi preživeli pred bitjem, ki je veliko močnejše od njih.

V vasici se obeta čas žetve, ki prebivalcem omogoča preživetje skozi celo leto. Čas žetve pa privabi tudi tolpo lačnih roparjev, ki želijo žito zase, vas pa uničiti. Vaščani se v boju za preživetje oprimejo zadnje možnosti – najamejo sedem samurajev, ki naj bi jih zaščitili. Odločitev je skrajna, saj kaže na takratni kastni sistem. Vaščani ne marajo samurajev, a so v danih okoliščinah prisiljeni izbrati manjše zlo. Čeprav sedmerica tvega svoje življenje, se ji kot plačilo obeta skromna nagrada – skodelica riža, a njihov motiv je povsem drugačen – čast in plemenitost.

Legendarna pošast se vrača še bolj skrivnostna in grozljiva, cilj njenega pohoda pa je Tokio. Po spodletelih vojaških in znanstvenih poskusih, da bi velikanski stvor odvrnili od soočenja s človeštvom, se japonska prestolnica znajde v kaosu popolnega uničenja. Vlada skuša prikriti resnico, toda vsi vojaški načrti spodletijo, v navzkrižnem ognju pa se znajdejo številni nedolžni civilisti. Ko se zdi že vse izgubljeno in grozi konec človeške civilizacije, preostane le še zadnji poskus iz obupa, z malo možnosti za uspeh, ki od vseh vpletenih zahteva veliko mero požrtvovalnosti in brezmejnega poguma.

Po enem rednih tatinskih podvigov Osamu in njegov sin Šoto naletita na dekletce, zapuščeno v mrazu. Osamujeva žena je do deklice sprva zadržana, ko pa izve, kako težko je njeno življenje, jo vzame pod svojo streho. Čeprav je Osamujeva družina siromašna in se z drobnimi tatvinami komaj preživlja, so njeni člani srečni v skupnem bivanju. Detective Ukyo Sugishita confronts crime on the basis of his own convictions. He has a partner that works for him in the Special Task Unit. Ryōmaden is the 49th NHK Taiga drama. It was shown on NHK from January 3 to November 28, 2010 spanning 48 episodes. The story centers on the life of 19th-century Japanese historical figures Iwasaki Yatarō and Sakamoto Ryōma. It has been announced that the series will be aired in several other countries, for example Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand.

Daimon Michiko is a 37-year-old freelance surgeon who is part of a questionable “doctor placement service” that has her wander from hospital to hospital. The harsh environment at the hospitals led many doctors to retire from their positions, forcing hospitals to make use of said program to fill the empty spots at least temporary. However, Michiko doesn’t look like a doctor at all with her flashy clothes and eccentric attitude. In the first episode she raises objections to a certain operation which is planned to be done by the head of a hospital who hasn’t performed an operation for a very long time. This causes Michiko to incur odium at the hospital, however, everyone becomes frozen when Michiko points out the outdated skills of the director. She also holds a scrupulous compliance when it comes to her working hours, never does any unnecessary chores that don’t require a medical license, and couldn’t care less about the power struggles within the hospitals. Nobody knows how she acquired such a top-level skill that allows her to claim exorbitant sums as reward, but her private life is an even greater mystery to everyone around her. Tanaka plays a rookie surgeon, Uchida an anesthetist, Kishibe the head of the placement service, and Ito the head of the surgical department of this institution.

Leo met Ultraseven during his initial fight against Alien Magma, and became the first Ultra Crusader of Earth to not hail from the Land of Light. Unlike most of the previous Ultras to visit Earth, Leo's fighting style specializes in martial arts giving him far greater physical abilities than any other known Ultras. Despite his foreign origins, he, along with Astra, were readily accepted into the pantheon of the Ultra Brothers. During his tenure on Earth, Leo and Seven became very close, and it was for this reason that Seven would eventually entrust the training of his son Ultraman Zero to Leo and Astra.

Den-noh Coil, Coil — A Circle of Children, is a Japanese science fiction anime television series depicting a near future where semi-immersive augmented reality technology has just begun to enter the mainstream. The series takes place in the fictional city of Daikoku, a hotbed of AR development with an emerging city-wide virtual infrastructure. It follows a group of children as they use AR glasses to unravel the mysteries of the half real, half Internet city, using a variety of illegal software tools, techniques, and virtual pets to manipulate the digital landscape. Den-noh Coil, in development for over a decade, is the series director debut of Japanese animator Mitsuo Iso. It premiered on NHK Educational TV on May 12, 2007. Due to the animators involved in its production and its unusually high-profile television broadcast time slot, Den-noh Coil was highly anticipated.

Hayata is a member of the Science Patrol, an organization tasked with investigating bizarre anomalies.
