Pripoved spremlja posebna agenta iz češkoslovaške vojske v izgnanstvu, Josefa Gabčíka (Cillian Murphy) in Jana Kubiša (Jamie Dornan), ki se decembra 1941 s padalom spustita na okupirano ozemlje svoje domovine. S pičlimi podatki in omejeno količino opreme sredi Prage pod nemško oblastjo morata pripraviti načrt in izpeljati atentat na Heydricha. Nevarna in tvegana operacija bo za vselej spremenila obličje Evrope.
